Sturdy and comfy

It's very sturdy, well put together and looks quite attractive in my home. The top surface of the stool is made from a type of pressed board that will stain/discolor if it gets wet but aside from that this is a very nice stool.

Perfect for my basements small kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going to put this in the garage since I thought it was grey. Well, two black ones were delivered instead of the grey one. They're too nice for the garage. They are quite sturdy and have a wooden top. It feels like sitting on a bench, there is no cushioning at all, that's to be expected. I'm using them as extra chairs for game night. They are comfortable enough to sit for hours and look good at the dining room table.

For $80, I was expecting nicer materials than a particle board top and powder coated steel, such as real wood and stainless steel. For this reason, I am deducting one star as I am worried about the long term durability of these materials with daily use. The stool came fully assembled and was packaged very safely. Overall, this is a nice little stool that can be used for a multitude of things, even as a step stool.
