A newborn starter set with color, for new parents. Philips Avent Blue Natural bottles with Natural Response nipple lets baby control the pace of the milk, like they do when breastfeeding. The nipples' unique opening and tip only releases milk when your baby actively drinks. When pausing to swallow and breathe no milk flows. Baby can drink, swallow, and breathe using their natural rhythm, just like they do when breastfeeding. Easily combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide breast-shaped nipple with a soft feel that mimics the shape and feel of a breast; plus baby controlling the flow of milk. A bottle brush with a curved brush head for easy cleaning of rounded bottle edges and a molded tip to clean the nipple. Soothie Pacifiers are used by medical professionals to calm newborns, the highly durable pacifiers features hospital grade silicone and one piece construction. Our soft and lightweight snuggle pacifier holder helps babies feel secure and makes it easy to find the pacifier. Two attachment points to hold any Philips Avent pacifier. The Natural bottle is made from polypropylene, a BPA free material, and works with all nipples and caps from the Natural line. The Natural response nipples come in flow rates 1-5, to keep up with your baby's growth. Includes: 3 4oz Blue Natural bottles with Natural response nipples flow 2, 1 9oz Blue Natural bottles with Natural response nipples flow 3, 1 Snuggle pacifier holder, 2 Soothie pacifiers 0-3 months+, 1 bottle brush. SCD838/04 What to expect when introducing the Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple. It is totally natural for your baby to take 2-3 tries to get milk flowing from a new bottle. Unlike traditional bottles the Natural bottle is designed to only release milk when your baby is actively drinking, like what happens when babies breastfeed. We have 5 different nipple flow rates for the Natural bottle. When looking for the right nipple flow rate, age is a guide, but your baby's approach to drinking and the feeding cues they will show will help determine when to move to a higher or lower nipple flow rate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle gift set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and we loved it!

My 3 month old had no problem testing these bottles. In the past I would always look for "slow flow" or even 0 flow nipples (even with my first child) and they would still come out fast or just drip when baby was not suckling and that would cause her to both choke and gulp in lots of air.

I have gone through MANY bottle brands and nipples that claimed to help with swallowing lots of air and I have got to say these were the best in our experience. The packaging says "no drip design" so I tested that out. I held the bottle upside down for a minute to see if it would drip out and it didn't! I even tried drinking from it myself and you have to work for it to come out making it a breeze when switching back and forth from breastfeeding and bottle feeding. I was even comfortable with it sitting in her mouth between pauses and she didn't choke once with these bottles. They truly are "no drip" nipples and baby does truly "control the pace like breastfeeding".

My favorite part about this gift set is it's all easy to CLEAN. These bottles are just three pieces. There are no extra little pieces and tiny brushes to clean different parts. It's all just three pieces of a bottle and ONE brush. The brush has a nipple cleaner at the one end. This is a plus because it's all one piece leaving no room for mold to grow over time like it can on the bottle brushes with detachable nipple cleaners. The bristles on the brush are not as hard as I expected. It's soft and non-abrasive yet cleans the bottle and grooves of the nipple cap well. I've included photos of the brush with all parts of the bottle for visuals. Notice the brush also scrubs the bottom of the bottle well, which can't be said of other bottle brushes.

The only downside I may have about this gift set is the nipple cleaner. It's not like a brush. It has ridges where you just turn it around inside the nipple. I cleaned or rinsed my bottles right away after each feeding, but I'm not too sure how that nipple cleaner would hold up against milk that has set over night or even a couple days. I have a photo of what it looks like when inside the nipple as well for your convenience.

I could go on about this set. I'm telling you I went through so many brands and I'm not just saying that. If you're looking for the best gift set and one that is also breastfeeding friendly it's this one!

Best Bottle Brand Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This baby set is absolutely adorable! It's perfect for any new parents looking for a gentle and soothing start for their little one.
Definitely a great present for a baby shower!
Highly recommend giving it a try.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A genuinely useful baby gift set that actually earns its place. The Natural Response bottles mimic breastfeeding beautifully, reducing dribbles and midnight fuss. The glow‑in‑the‑dark accents are a small but brilliant touch for night feeds, and the included soother and brush feel well‑made and practical. Thoughtful, reliable, and perfect for new parents who want calm, not clutter.

A Thoughtful, Sleep‑Saving Gift Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Natural response bottle has been by far the best bottle we have tried since introducing combi feeding. After trialling a number of different brands this has been the best and the only one my daughter has taken to with ease. Love the fact the teat supports baby's own drinking rhythm so it's not too slow/fast and mimics breast feeding. My daughter has had no issues with latching unlike with some other brands as designed with breast like shape teat.

Love the glow in the dark feature makes those nighttime feeds super easy to locate bottle and dummy without having to turn on the lights. Also no spillages or drips which is also great.

Overall a very good bottle for those looking to introduce combi feeding or even switching from breast to bottle feeding. Will continue to purchase Philips Avent range and recommend to friends and family!

Great bottle for combi feeding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Philips baby bottle and honestly, it's one that actually works with my baby's natural drinking rhythm. The milk only flows when my baby actively sucks, just like breastfeeding. That made the transition between breast and bottle so much smoother for us. I was really worried about nipple confusion at first, but this bottle made combining breast and bottle feeding feel almost effortless.

The breast-shaped teat also helps with a natural latch, the bottle itself is easy to hold, and I like that it's BPA-free. It also seems gentle on my baby's tummy — we've had fewer issues with gas, which I think is thanks to the venting system.

One thing I'd say is that you do need to be patient at the beginning while your baby adjusts to the new teat, and it's important to choose the right flow for your baby's age and preference.

Overall, I'm really happy with this set. It feels well-designed and practical. I'd definitely recommend it to parents who want an easier way to combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding without stress.

Natural Response Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have given 5 stars as it's a blessing at night to be able to find the bottle in the dark and feed with ease. I love how it glows in the dark. It's of good quality and reassuring to know it's BPA free!

FANTASTIC QUALITY - Baby loves it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing panel for sending me this set to try out! Overall, this is a wonderful set. It includes 2 purple, 9oz. bottles with size 3 flow nipples and 2 pink, Ultra Air pacifiers. While using these products, I noticed many things I loved, as well as a few things to consider for next time.
PROS:
- I loved the fact that the bottles were purple. Our daughter goes to the church nursery once a week and takes a bottle while she is there, so it is nice to know that her milk will not be mixed up with that of another child due to the distinct purple color of the bottle. Plus, the color is super cute!
- These bottles do not leak! Even with the relatively large size 3 flow nipple, there was absolutely no leaking. Baby does all the work to remove the milk, so I was confident that she was not going to develop a lazy latch or bottle preference over nursing. She still nurses like a champ despite taking a bottle multiple times per week. (See attached photo to show how leak-proof it is! I turned the bottle upside down and even squeezed it and nothing came out!)
- My absolute favorite parts of the set are the pacifiers! My daughter is five months old and takes a pacifier at naptime and bedtime. She has recently started rolling over to her stomach while she sleeps, and I love that these pacifiers don't run the risk of covering her nose if she does flip over. They are lightweight and very breathable. We used to be die-hard Avent Soothies users, but these have us converted!

THINGS TO CONSIDER:
- My baby is used to using flow size 1 nipples on her bottles. Switching to a size 3 caused her to drink the milk a lot faster, but I found that I could curb her guzzling with frequent breaks. If your baby is on the younger side, they may need to have a smaller size nipple to start out.
- These bottles are on the larger side. My baby takes breast milk in her bottles, so we will likely never put more than about 4 ounces in a bottle at once. However, these would be a great size for babies who are older or take formula, or even water, in a bottle and need more volume.

Overall, this set was great to have and we will continue to use it. The star of the show were the pacifiers and we will certainly be purchasing more of that variety! While we were able to work with the flow size 3 nipple, I think I will bump down to a flow size 1 nipple because that is what works best for my daughter. I consider this set a wonderful gift for a new parent or smart addition to a baby registry!

Loved this set and we found our new favorite pacis

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle itself is very sleek looking, when feeding my little one it's really comfy to hold and it's quiet too! Which helps with night feeds. My little one struggles with latching and we found that this bottle was okay when it comes to this. Overall, the bottle is good and we found that it's one we go for when choosing a bottle for a night feed. The dummy was also good, he tried it and loved it for a while then stopped wanting it. It might be the fact he's a little fussy when it comes to dummies, it soothed him very well when he wanted to take it.

Natural response nighttime set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had received this product through Stellar Product Testing and let me just start with the PROS: The bottles were easy to clean, my son immediately took to the bottle (he's very picky) the color of the bottle is cute! Easy for baby to hold themselves
CONS: They would leak because it closed weird, the nipple was on the fast flowing side, the pacifier seemed a little small for a 6-18month but my son didn't like the shape of them at all
But overall I would definitely buy more of these bottles!

Great Bottle For breastfed babies

I find it to be really odd that this newborn set has no size 0 or 1 nipples. Waste of money to end up with a bunch of nipples that arent ideal for newborn

Nipple sizes don't make sense
