Philips Avent Natural Response nipple lets baby control the pace of the milk, like they do when breastfeeding. The nipples' unique opening and tip only releases milk when your baby actively drinks. When pausing to swallow and breathe no milk flows. Baby can drink, swallow, and breathe using their natural rhythm, just like they do when breastfeeding. Easily combine breast and bottle feeding with a wide breast-shaped nipple with a soft feel that mimics the shape and feel of a breast; plus baby controlling the flow of milk. The nipple has a no-drip design which helps prevent lost milk from the tip. An anti-colic valve integrated into the nipple is designed to reduce colic and discomfort by sending air away from your baby's tummy. The Natural response nipples come in flow rates 1-5, to keep up with your baby's growth. Use Philips Avent Natural bottles only with Philips Avent Natural nipples. Includes: 2 Natural Response nipples, flow 5. SCY965/02 What to expect when introducing the Philips Avent Natural Response Nipple. It is totally natural for your baby to take 2-3 tries to get milk flowing from a new bottle. Unlike traditional bottles the Natural bottle is designed to only release milk when your baby is actively drinking, like what happens when babies breastfeed. We have 5 different nipple flow rates for the Natural bottle. When looking for the right nipple flow rate, age is a guide, but your baby's approach to drinking and the feeding cues they will show will help determine when to move to a higher or lower nipple flow rate.

Flow Control

Enables breaks for swallowing and breathing during feeding sessions.

Features a system that prevents spills and messes.

Allows for controlled feeding without spills.

After trying different nipple flows, this Flow 5 has been the one that works best for my baby because she drinks Enfamil AR, which is much thicker than standard formula. The milk flows consistently without constant clogging or making her work too hard.

I also like that it's part of the Natural Response line, so the flow still depends on the baby's sucking instead of constantly pouring out. It made feedings much smoother for us, and I haven't had any leaking issues.

If your baby is on a thickened formula like Enfamil AR, this flow is definitely worth considering. It solved a problem that lower flow nipples couldn't.

Perfect for thick formulas

walmart.com

I was confused by all of the different flows but I felt like I should move on from the flow 1 when using milk and the flow 3 when adding cereal to the flow 5 because my baby was approaching a year old. I think this slow helps her adjusting to changing back and forth between sippy cups.

Worked fine for me

These bottles are the best to feed. They clean up very nicely with formula or breast milk. They're also really great with the transition especially with the different nipple sizes.

Best baby bottle and nip

I love the whole system including the bottle warmer. I did not have this when mine were babies.
My grandchildren and great grandchildren are benefiting from this beautiful product line.

I would give a higher Star rating than I can give

We've been using these nipples since he was 4 months old. We were definitely over due for new nipples and this size was perfect for my now 12 month old. With this size, the milk comes out fast enough for him.

Perfect for a toddler

I use this brand since 2019. No issue, keep buying them more every year because my kids are 4 yo and still drinking milk everyday. This help them from spill and they can lay down to take this. I have 4 kids.

Good brand!

these nipples have gotten worse then they were before. bought it for my infant who's 3 month and size 4 was already hard for him since barely any milk came down. size 5 felt the same at this point. I poke some holes with a sewing needle to make it easier for the flow to come down. of course make sure to sterilize everything before use/using. other then that, I love Advent bottles been using it for years and my infants tends to like these bottles more because of the resemble to breastfeeding

i have to buy these all the time because my daughter bites holes in hers.

I order two pack of the Philips avent nipples and on one of the boxes one of the nipples was different than the other ones

Have used Avent bottles and replacement nipples for over 5 year span. This is the 1st batch to have defective silicone unevenly cut around large base rim of bottle nipple. Shredded and unevenly cut with flaking pieces jagged. I would need the equipment the company uses to fix it myself to clean up the messy edges. Doesn't fit evenly in white bottle ring.
I'm not sure why this product was poorly made. I'm surprised. Very bad quality standard. I'm discouraged from buying again from the manufacturer.

Shredded clear silicone pieces on edges

Natural Response Nipple Flow 5, 6M+, 2 pack by Philips Avent showing two clear silicone nipples with wide breast-shaped bases and flow rate 5 embossed on each, designed for babies 6 months and older to control milk flow naturally and reduce colic.
