has 120 volt cord. easy to set. numbers bright like nightlite. time projector works great. i was surprised it was good quality for short money.

Bought it for my parents.They were having trouble finding a clock they could both see at night. This clock projects the time on the ceiling above their bed.

My parents loved it !

Alarm clock

This is great for nights when you wake up and want to know the time. It is a little bright but nothing that would keep you up from it. For the price, this is a great clock. I like the projection ones much better anyways.

The projected display is upside down when projected on my ceiling.  Also, since it is basically two clocks, the projection clock is running faster than the normal display clock (after one week the two clocks are out-of-sync, already).

The Naxa NRC-173 Projection Dual Alarm Clock needs to be re-engineered to allow the flipping of the display by at least 180 degrees, in order to view the projected display according to your needs.  Also would be nice if the projection power was stronger (to project a longer distance.

Upside Down

Some of the individual lines that make up each number are partially illuminated when they should be off, so that "5" looks like "6", "9" looks like "8", "4" looks like "H", etc.  Also, it's annoying to have to set the clock and the projection display separately.   The alarm and the radio seem to work OK.

After trying 5 times to set the am and fm presets, fantastic 10 each frequency, I realized they were randomly memorizing some other non working frequency.  Disappointed, I called the manufacturer to see if I was doing something wrong and they confirmed with me doing it again, my two clock radios were defective.
It also should be noted, the clock radio MUST BE BEHIND YOUR HEAD in order for the projection to be right side up on the ceiling.  It can not be in front of you or the projected time will be upside down and unable to be read.  The buttons got stuck when adjusting the radio channels up and down.
Disappointed, it really looks like a sharp clock radio.

DEFECTIVE PRESET MEMORY

I ordered the clock and it was quickly delivered! However, the quality of the product was very poor... Set up it only worked a few hours before unsetting itself... Very frustrating.
