Formula

I finally found the best serum for my face. I went to purchase more and I was told it was discontinued. Nooooooo!!!  The replacement doesn't hold a candle to the mattifying serum. Are there any still kicking around in stage warehouse??

Was recommended by dermatologist. My skin is extremely oily. Anyone with oily skin knows how uncomfortable it is. Was excited to try the gel, but was expensive. Of course didn't help at all. Dont waste ur money!

Oil gel

I've been using the matifying fluid for about 5 years now and I couldn't be more sad that you've changed the formula. I used it every.single.day. It was the only product that kept my skin looking matte all day. The new version isn't the same at all and doesn't make your skin matte like the cream did. Please bring back the old product!

BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA

I have been using the mattifying fluid for years and loved the product so much, it's the only product I have ever found that actually worked. Now they changed it and it's horrible. Does not work even a little bit. PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL my skin needs this product desperately

Hate this new product

I second the below review!! The mattifying CREAM was amazing and a mainstay in my beauty regiment - at least for 8 years as well? I can't believe it.. I went into Shoppers and was aghast to find that not only the bottle had changed but the overal texture of the product. The old product dried on DRY and clear and did an amazing job of controlling oil in the t-zone and I think reduced my small blemishes. I've been unable to find a comparable product since.. would be great to have the old formula back..

Mattifying Cream

I was using the old mattifying product and it was fantastic... A couple of weeks ago a went to buy it at Shoppers Drugmart and found out that Neostrata changed all of its products. So, I tried the new mattifying serum with the new formula. It does NOT work, it is awful, it does not do the job and makes my skin shinny and sticky! Do not buy this one. Now, thanks to you I've to go back to square one and start finding a new serum that keeps my skin matte all day long (as your old formula did) from your competitors. Why did you do this awful change!? You have just lost a customer!

Really bad product

saw this replaced the oil mattifying fluid so I gave it a try. It seems to sit on my skin a bit before it finally absorbs. It reduces the shine after it finally absorbs but nowhere near as long as the oil mattifying fluid. I am sorry that I tried this as it ended up being just a waste of money.

Bring back the old formula.

I have been using the oil free mattifying fluid for almost 10 years, it was my absolute favourite skincare product and the only must have in my regimen. I have changed my face wash, toner, and nighttime moisturizer several times over the years but this was the only product that remained constant. It was the only product that made my oily and acne prone skin feel soft and silky and also controlled my shine throughout the day. This new formula is absolutely TERRIBLE! It costs more for less product and it leaves my skin feeling sticky and gross instead of silky and shine free. The old cream formula felt wonderful and I didn't mind paying so much for 50ml because of how well the product worked, but now it costs more for a measly 30ml and to top it off the new formula doesn't even work and instead just feels sticky and disgusting on my skin. Please, me and my skin are begging you - bring back the old formula!

Bring back the old formula

I had been using the 50 ml bottle of Oil Free Matifying Fluid for 2 years and would tell everyone how great the product was. Now you have reduced the packaging to 30 ml for essentially the same price. It is also now a serum instead of a cream, which leaves my skin feeling sticky instead silky. The cream felt moisturizing even though it was meant to reduce shine. I am disappointed that Neostrata has changed up what was a great product, and reduced the amount you actually receive. The stars I have given is based on my comparison to the Oil Free Matifying Fluid, which I would have given 5 stars.

Not the same as the Matifying Fluid

I loved loved loved the original formula. Nothing worked for my oily T-zone except the Matifying Fluid. I was so disappointed when I found out they changed this formula but I still wanted to try it. I hated it, it did nothing for me and it felt sticky and tacky. Thankfully, I had one more tube of the old formula left. Not sure what I am going to do after I run out though. Please bring back the other formula!

If I could give it no stars, I would!!!!!
