Bought 2 of these for my nephews ages 6 & 8 for Christmas. What a blast the boys had a riot with them shooting them back-and-forth. I recommend extra ammunition. Even the big boys (daddy & uncle) got in on the fun. A word of caution, eye protective gear highly recommended for this item.

Awesome gift

Bought this for my son for Xmas. It's a good quality Nerf product w/ great range. The 12 shot magazine is a nice touch and the two access hatches on the top are good for clearing jams.

Good range

Bought this for my son for Christmas and he Loves it. It has really good power and I like it has a clip so it holds several bullets at one time. I did take off one star because it does seem to jam occasionally and that sometimes ruins the bullet that was being loaded. So I do recommend buying extra bullets. But overall it was a smart buy!

Good power

The gun is ok, but the bow does get hung up once in a while.  My daughter was very aggravated until I was able to get it untangled. It's not smooth shooting.

Ok, but....

Bought two of these with nerf battles in mind. The pump action loading on both guns had small parts that broke off and jammed the gun. The bullets began to get stuck inside due to the malfunction and the "battles" never even got to occur. Extremely disappointed.

Worked for 10 minutes!

My 5 yr son loves it but since he got it i have to constantly get the lodged bullets out of the chamber. When they do get stuck, the bullets are demolished to where they have to be thrown away. I bought it 3 days ago and it came with 12 bullets and he is down to three because the rest have been tore up by the gun.

I bought it for my son 10th birthday...i  wish he would have wanted something else not a good buy.the clip and bullets keep getting stuck and he have tored up 5 of his bullet trying to get it out the bow.

Unsatisfied

I bought the Crossbolt - Nerf N-Strike Elite to give Christmas gifts to my niece. We were very disappointed, the cartridges got stuck in the toy or the crossbow rope damaged them. The majority of cartridges destroyed when we had to unpick them I will try to make this toy and a big disappointment for my niece that we see once a year

Defective Toy

The Nerf N-Strike CrossBolt Blaster would have been great  except it kept jamming up and eating the bullets, we had to exchange it, and the other one did the same thing, we got a refund on this thing!  Wouldn't recommend it!
