This gun is overall pretty great. Load it up and shoot 4 double shots with pretty impressive range. Some claim that this gun is inaccurate - I think that is more an issue with these new darts not having enough front weight. It is true you can't thread the needle with your shots, but that's not the point of a shotgun. Shoots well and feels great - overall pretty sweet Nerf gun.

I purchased this for my 2 year old nephew online and didn't realize how big it would be. It would be well suited for a 5 or 6 year old, but he's tough and stands his own. He LOVES it and can but the bullets in it himself also so it is easy to load. I think for a child a little bigger, it would be perfect.

So much fun to be had!

This is a really nice gun set for someone just starting to show interest in guns. Very good quality product. I bought this for a Christmas present so I won't be using it. I am sure the little boy I got it for will though.

I have purchased a great many Nerf guns in my day, and this may be the best. I bought it on an impulse along with a couple others and I've hardly put it down since. I expected the two bullet shots thing to be gimmicky and wasteful, but it's not. First off you can shoot only one shot if you so desire, depending on how far you pull the trigger. Secondly Nerf guns are't known for their accuracy and the spread gives you a better chance to actually hit what you were aiming at. Works well, good distance, enough force, no issues with quality.

Plus it's a supper cool pump shotgun thing.

Possibly the best Nerf gun

I sent this to my grandson for his 8th birthday. It arrived early, so ship to home service worked great and was worth the money since we live in different states. The ability to track the shipping was a great feature as well. Thanks Walmart for that! As for the blaster itself, my grandson picked it out himself online it and was exactly what he wanted. Not being familiar with nerf blasters, I asked him many questions after he played with it: (1) Are the darts hard? No, they are soft. (2) Do they hurt if you get hit? A little, but only the first time, then you know what it feels like and it doesn't hurt again. (3)Where do you shoot it? In the basement against the wall. It shoots really far. (4) Did the extra ammo I bought (other nerf ammo described to fit all blasters of this type) work on this gun? Yes, Granny. (5) So you like your gun? Yeah!!! This Granny is highly satisfied and her grandson is a happy birthday boy. Thanks Walmart.

My grandson loves it!

I brought this gun a couple days ago and i love its look, shape and design. The darts have a good distance, it is powerful, and it has a long 8 dart duration and a quick reload. It is good for close quarter combat so you can easily surprise your enemys and finish them quick. The pull back mechanism on the bottom means i can keep laying down fire at my enemies. This product definitley makes a fine product and has an affordable price.

Good tactical advantages

I purchased this item online and he was amazed because he loves nerf guns and he never saw this in the store apparently. So far he hasn't complained about anything with it, except that he wished it would hold more of the darts!
