the Nerf rebell rapid red blaster is a great item, its almost superior to any "Boy" nerf blaster. it is interchangeable with a number of other nerf blasters and is powerful enough already to satisfy even the most mod hunger nerf users demands.
the concept is "cute" but adds little to the overall satisfaction of play. the clip only holds 14 darts comfortably, any more will cause a jam. the "Jam Door" on top is a great concept but does not help if the dart is caught more towards the barrel of the gun. you can only push the dart forward and hope the second dart does not jam behind the first. the grip is a bit to small for most guys who are use to a more meaty grip or handle, so keep in mind it is marketed to girls.

over all it very good, it a bit weighty toward the front of the barrel but not too bad for small hands. fires well, no need to boost the firing as it can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger and the distance is compatible to any "boy" nerf gun available.

I had a hard time convincing my wife to get this blaster for myself. The excuse that worked was that it was a very good deal at $12.98 vs $19.99 typical price (now even $7.98) for me to use as a testbed for modded high-voltage batteries. When I got this blaster in reality, I immediately noticed its nice design and good tacticality. The small shape and nice handling makes it a best nerf SMG for combat (even with stryfe-retaliator in mind) . I was always thinking that there is something missing in the design, until I realized that what I was trying to find was the folded stock which should have been able to unfold from the top of the upper receiver. Then I also realized that this toy blaster was designed after the famous (infamous) German WWII MP40. The curve of the butt and the grip can't be anything else. Just missing a longer barrel (which doesn't have any purpose given a flywheel blaster) and a folded stock.

OTHER THOUGHTS:
The clip is interchangeable with CS system (CS-6, 12, 18 tested and perhaps CS-10 banana), though breaking the color theme, a workable hack on the nerf battlefield. The flywheel is also noticeably, slightly underpowered compared to the XD elite rapidstrike.

BOTTOMLINE:
After all, I like this blaster. I don't mind it being in the "girly" rebelle line, just by thinking it is an MP40 imitate. I don't mind either to take this as my primary when I fight my neighbors or their children in nerf wars.

A girly MP40

I bought this for my daughter, it's a nice little gun. It's really quiet and shoots pretty fast. It does tend to jam every once in a while, but it's not a huge problem.

This is her first Nerf gun and she loves it!! Her 2 boy cousins have always had Nerf guns and played against each other but now that they make them for girls, she was excited to finally play with them. (& not have to use a boy gun) It works great. Shoots fast And holds a lot of bullets!! Haven't had any problems! GREAT buy!!

This is my first nerf gun and I LOVE it. The guys that I work with have a ton of their own and I wanted to get one as well. They are low-key jealous. Even though it's pastel it has nice power. I'm going to get a barrel as an addition so that I can have more rounds. I've never been a gun person but this is so much fun to play with.
