Been playing with this non stop since Ive gotten it. Lots of action to keep them busy. The mini frisbee disks can float a long way. Definitely a crowd pleaser among my kids and their friends. Nerf Enthusiets will not be dissapointed with this blaster! Great fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a gift recently and I really, really like it. My nephews have Nerf guns so I met up with them and showed them the Vortex. They were jealous of my gun. The fact that it holds 40 discs is awesome and it has slam fire which is hold the trigger down and pump the barrel as fast as you can and it rapid fires.  I haven't experienced any jams yet while firing. It is a little tricky to load because it has an upper and lower chamber but read the instructions and it is very easy after you learn how to load it.  Picking up 40 discs off of the floor isn't fun, but firing the gun is lots of fun and worth the trouble.

This one was reasonable priced and is different than the normal nerf darts. I like the little round disc's. They do sting just a tad but when they hit you, but maybe my boy is just a brat and is shooting me too close. Lol great product

It is so easy to operate and it is high quality entertainment...well my dog doesn't like it, but the rest of us do. Easy to fill, and easy to shoot...one shot at a time, or you can do rapid fire and bombard someone. Comes with extra discs also..so if you lose some, you can still reload the canister and you are ready to shoot again and again.

Now there is a bunch of shooting contest going on. It shoots really far so you have to keep up with the 40 disc it comes with. Awesome toy!!! You can do rapid fire and we'll as a single fire. The disc don't hurt if you get hit with it. We love it.

The disks are nice so my four year old was able to reload and cock it back with no issues. Having the 40 discs is helpful since my daughter can shoot all those and I am not constantly having to reload the nerf gun every five seconds which is nice for me.
