My proctor silex crockpot recently died (glass cover literally shattered) and I wanted to find something to replace it.  It is extremely difficult finding a crockpot that is 1.5 quart and oval shaped which is what I loved about my proctor silex one. 
When I came across this one, I read the reviews and it seemed like it was a good one, so I gave it a try.
I am very happy I did.  So far, it has worked great and works really well on either high or low settings.  I haven't really tried the "auto" setting but I don't know how much I would really use that.  I love how it heats things up really well but doesn't seem to overheat as my proctor silex one did.  I also love how you can remove the crock and lid and throw them in the dishwasher which makes clean up a breeze.  
All in all, I am really loving this crockpot.  Hopefully it will last for a really long time!!

Perfect for small portions. I always had to make too big a pot of food in the larger cooker. For 2 people this one is perfect.

This is a very nice crockpot! Color is very pretty candy apple red. But its perfect for 1 person, maybe 2. Its hard to figure what size is 1 n 1/2 quarts is. Let me put it this way. 2 chicken thighs fit in it perfect. So 2 chicken thighs or 1 chicken thigh n a veg. I bet 1 pound of hamberger made into sloppy joes would fit perfect too. Its only me, so this is just perfect for me, 1 person. I do want to order the 2 quart. In case I want to cook a bigger amount. Oh anything I dont like. I guess the cord is too short. Cords should be longer.

Perfect for Two

This absolutely darling red metallic 1.5 little crock pot is just so cute that I had to get it when I was looking for a replacement when my other one got broken. Also I love Nesco products and the oval shape is perfect for actually cooking a meatloaf or small roast etc. The round ones are good for appetizers only. I will use this more at home now instead of strictly taking it out with cheese dip. Did I mention how cute it is?

Love my new mini crockpot

This is my second purchase, I also have the blue one. This slow cooker is the ideal size for me and looks very nice. I like that it has an on light and 3 settings. Cooks very well and is worth the few extra dollars compared to the other small cheaper looking ones.

Perfect for small portions

I love my new Nesco :-) It is the perfect size for 2 people. Now all I need is freezer containers the same size and shape

Great for 2 people

Great little pot for making a small batch of soup or meal.  Also great for reheating stuff.  I hate to clean my glass stove top so this is my go to for avoiding that.  Only 4 stars because it does make your counter top hot.  Please put a cutting board or silicone mat under it to protect you countertop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This crock pot will cook 4 sweet potatos or 4 pok chops or warm up soup %26 gray. Couldn't live withhout it. Buying for Christmas presents also. Plus Walmart's fast free shipping is a blessing. Walmart   worth every penny plus some!!!!

You may think too little-but not!

I had hoped for a good slow cooker, just a smaller size. I cooked about 3/4 lb of roast with potatoes and carrots. After six hours, the roast was a bit tough, and the potatoes were partially raw. I am very disappointed and would not recommend it.
