This is a wonderful skillet.Nice and deep Good for frying ,stir fry.Even did a pot roast in it

This is a deep skillet so it is handy in cooking things that splatter. The heating element spreads across the bottom and not just in a ring like so many other skillets. Good , hot, even heating. I have 2 of these as they are so versatile I use one for cooking meat or fish and the other simultaneously for a side dish. My 2 daughters and my 2 sons each have one, too.

I was a bit worried at first, as I have a bird who flies free in my apartment. I looked up what I could about the surface of it, and it turns out that it's okay to use around birds. It's wonderful and can be used for frying, stews and holds a lot. I have a gas oven and stove that I don't like to use, so this is perfect.

All-purpose fry pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just used it for the first time today to make a huge batch of spaghetti sauce. It worked out well and I know I will use it for many other things. The only problem I have with this item is the temperature control starts at 275 degrees and it would be nice to have a lower temperature on the skillet.

I don't fault Walmart for this item being damaged. Must have happened during transit from where it was manufactured (China) or from the distributor, then to Walmart. Other than that, it looked like it would have been a great appliance to use. I ordered it to use in the summer so as not to turn on my oven and heat my house. Will probably order another one, hopefully it will not be damaged when it arrives.
