i am very excited to add this to my pressure canner family. the size i bought does small batch which is perfect for some projects.  i used it 2x in a week and my electric bill went up $2.38. that is a better deal for me currently vs my natural gas stove bill. if you have the means to add this one i would.

I own two of the NESCO electric pressure canners. They are so easy to operate and do an excellent job. Canning made simple and I don't have to worry about watching a gauge or timing everything. I highly recommend this canner and buying more than one.  We have two in the household and this canner has changed the way we eat. Reach for the jars from the pantry and you have a meal in a short time. I can veggies, chicken, fruit and anything that is safe according to the rules.

THIS IS A MUST BUY

Fairly easy to use. Just takes a minute to remember the steps for the different settings, but the instructions are easy to read and helps a lot. I've used it every day since day 1 and have canned a lot of stuff. You can't do a lot at once e but since I'm an only person household it works perfect for me.

Love it

Great for small batch canning! Quieter than my old stove top pot (not that we are throwing old faithful out!) we can sometimes for preservation, but mostly to make weeknights easier to put home cooked food on the table. I can start it while I cook dinner and it's set and forget. By bedtime the pressure is down, the jars are out, and it was all easy.

This small electric pressure canner is PERFECT for canning a few jars of "I made too much for dinner"!  I have canned soups, stews, meat, pulled pork, shredded chicken, spaghetti sauce with meat and lots more.  I threw in a whole frozen beef roast and had dinner in less than 2 hours.  It is amazing!!

Best small electric pressure canner for daily use!

I've used it for browning, soup, and slow cooking so far and it did great. It was easy to use and clean up. I haven't used it for canning. I don't know how to do that yet, but my daughter is going teach me. I'm looking forward to learning. So far I find this to be an excellent investment and I do recommend it, and considering all it does, it will save you cost over buying separate appliances, as well the counter top space you save with it's all in one design.

Excellent Purchase

got this for my wife, so far she has put up around 250 jars of assorted veggie's, soups, with and with out meat, and other stuff, both quarts and pints or smaller. 4 quarts both regular and wide mouth, 5 pints and around 6 or 7  jelly jars, depending on the jar. did a great job with all so far.
only bad thing i can see with it is, sometimes the lid is a pain in the butt ta get back on.
 other than that its well worth the money.

I found some canning videos on Tik Tok that used this canner specifically and I've tried several. I was always too afraid of a pressure cooker to use one until now. Carefully following the directions and watching detailed videos online has me sold! Looking forward to next gardening seasoning already!

New to Home Canning

Bought this for my wife who had been using a stovetop pressure canner.  She raves about the Nesco.  Easy to use - works every time!  I think she has canned something every day since she opened the package.  She also appreciates that she does not have to constantly watch the Nesco the way she had to watch the stovetop canner.

I have a Presto digital electric and  I thought it was easy.  This Nesco it's so easy to use and so far working very well.   Nice size and not too heavy.   
The only I don't like is it vents out a lot of steam during process time.  I looked this up and is supposed to be normal.  
Half the price of Presto.

EASY  TO USE

Returned as I did not know it couldn't do Quart water bath canning, and had trouble opening lid when I correctly had jiggler on exhaust mode, arrow did not lineup exactly with exhaust, manual did not give any additional help tips for this
