Provides speeds of up to 300 mbps or more.

Setup process is straightforward through the app.

Can be strong and reliable, but may struggle in certain areas.

Provides consistent coverage throughout the house.

Offers great value considering performance and features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I got a problem where my router is all in another side of the house and get a lot of lag and glitches since I game a lot and I'll be honest I tried WiFi extenders but the mesh extender was something I really needed it's as if I never had problems with my connection it's solid I was skeptical at first but after asking questions and researching a bit without breaking the bank this was one of the best purchases I've made.

Surprised it would actually work

netgear.com

AX1600 4-stream extender was easy to set up and provides good WiFi to my office in back of the house, about 80 feet from the modem. Much better than the router that was installed by Viasat. Now we can view internet at the barn about 80 feet from the house. Purchased online after looking up reviews on Mac.

Easy set up!

5 star review....extenders absolutely fill in the voids in my home. Router is netgear nighthawk and easy installation. Of course the router and extenders only work as good as the internet provider....in my case the internet provider is the only provider in area....so high speed fiber and not happy with internet provider.

extenders

It works with my Telus WIFI 6 & It was fast and easy to set up and it worked right away unlike a comparable D-Link product I bought and had to return.

However the speed is drastically reduced for devices connected to it instead of the main WIFI. Still it is plenty fast enough to stream TV but we are talking 70-100 mbps on the extender VS 800+ on the main WIFI. I probably have some interference going on however I don't really care as the whole purpose of this device was to get a stronger connection for a handful of smart home devices that don't need the speed. I could try moving the extender but my other spots are not ideal visually.

Netgear, worth it!

I had bought an Orbi last year for use in my home office and condo. It works great but I found the master bedroom signal was very week- even though my condo is only 1000 sq feet. Netflix and other apps struggled to connect, so an extender was in need. Setup was so easy I thought I must be doing something wrong! Once the extender connected to the network, it was gone. It now just acts like the main router. Signal in my master bedroom is now strong and there is no more struggle to get internet access.

Excellent Extender Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son was having issues using his metaquest 3 vr headset in his bedroom due to slow /poor wifi signal strength. I purchased this just to boost the signal to his bedroom, and it works PERFECTLY. It was super easy to set up too.

WiFi booster saved the day

This wifi extender is great, it has extended my coverage to the devices outside of my house, a security camera, video doorbell and my garage motor. My signals were weak, but still worked, so I decided on an extender and this one does not disappoint. all the signals have improved greatly and the buffering has stopped.

Extended range is great

When router got messed up they were stopping me from getting it reset unplugged them and all is well

Would not let system come back after redet

Easy installation easy connection works great. Always NetGear. Tried the others but they complicated everything! This was seamless.

Works great!

We bought two EAX12 (AX1600) Mesh extenders. Instead of Meshing, they both tried to connect to the main Router (Optimum Cable Fiber). The plan was to daisy chain them for a longer narrow coverage on the property all the way out to a gazebo. Instead when they both connect to the router there is a lot of network traffic and the network fails. Unplugging either of them and everything is fine. The farthest one has very slow speeds though so we left it out leaving us with only one extender and not quite getting the coverage we had with the other brand mesh that failed.

One is good, two, well we can't make it work

not happy with it.
App sucks, seems more geared to the router, not the extender.
Not much help if you use the Starlink router. It seems stuck on the old cable router and I can't get it to recognize a new network.

not good overall
