I bought this device about 2 weeks ago, it is working fine.
Installation is a breeze, just press the button on the router, and it connects.
The connection is good while I took it to my bedroom which is on the ground floor.

Netgear AC750 WIFI RANGE EXTENDER

We wanted a WiFi extender with a wider range. We tried a 600sq. ft. model and it was not adequate.
But the 1200 sq. ft. NETGEAR model seems to be doing it's job. With ongoing problems with the internet we are hoping that this will be part of the solution to good reception.

Our NETGEAR experience

I added some online backups to various home laptops and cut the cord recently. All these changes brought my wifi to a standstill so much my computer kept going offline. I purchased this on the advice of an IT friend and wow it solved my problems. I bought a second one so I have one in the basement as well as the second floor. I thought I would have to spend hundreds on mesh technology but this little beauty did the trick!

Great product

I am satisfied with my product, but I had a lot of trouble configuring it because the paper documentation was not up to date. The customer should be aware that the documentation may not be up to date. This will eventually prevent waste of time.

I had a dead spot in my bedroom 2 floors above my router, which couldn't be moved any closer. I bought this extender and placed it in the main floor, halfway between the router and dead zone.

Set up was a breeze and took less than 5 mins, but after initial setup, my devices connected to the extender but showed "no internet connection". The same issue happened even after resetting the extender.

I googled the issue and the fix was to powercycle both the router and extender. I did exactly that and haven't had a problem with my extender since. Signal is strong, my dead zone issue is resolved, and I now even get better wifi in my backyard and garage.

Easy Set Up, Great Performance for Price

Unfortunately, every 10 minutes the internet speed drops to zero, and I have to turn it off and on again. Then after another 10 minutes, it disconnects once more.

Very Bad !!

Bought this extender 3 months ago, and now realize it was a bad choice. It keeps losing connection even though the device light is green. Reset multiple times with trouble shooting guide and tried both manual and WPS to install the device. If I could return this, I would.

After a week of using, it started to loose wifi connection daily and was not connecting to devices.  Kept saying failure to connect. When it did connect and took camera to the place it was it would disconnect and go back to original wifi connection. Garbage
