Great product

Bought this based on helping my brother install his. The free app makes set up super easy and straight forward. The mesh system got rid of the dead spots in my yard and corners of my house. I was able to keep and easily switch over my old networks to this system so I didn't have to go and reconnect all my old devices. When I conducted the speed test doubled my speeds from my old router. I am tremendously happy with this system. The app is great for management and security of the system. I can adjust parental controls from anywhere and get updates on security scans. Definitely recommend this system.

The NETGEAR night hawk is really the best WiFi mesh I could have asked for it gets all areas of my home from one side of my house the the other end. I now have great fast internet service and upload speeds with this wifi 6 mesh system. I couldn't ask for a better device for my home .

Great for when you have a big space

I originally purchased the Nighthawk 8 wifi router.  I had a 3hour session with tech support to get it up and running.  Then, while it worked fine, it didn't cover my entire 1200 sq ft house.  so I took it back and got the Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 system.  Wow!  It easily covers my entire house with fast reliable internet speeds.  As for installation, it was a snap.  I just downloaded the app on to my phone and followed the instructions.  Do plug in the primary unit and power it on before starting the app process.  the app immediately looks for the it.

easy, fast, good coverage

I purchased this to replace R8000 and WAPs. After setup, I determined there are no parental controls, no control by device/IP, no way to set device schedules. That makes this product unusable in a household with teens.  Speed and coverage is great but lack or control is a deal breaker. Back to the store for this one.

I have an open case about this, not a single answer from netgear...

Unstable wifi connection.

my tv locks out my phone locks out when trying to connect new thing it won't connect. But after resetting and startup again then its all fine. But after a day or two the problem continues. I think it lies within not to able to choose between 2,4 and 5 ghz. I will retur this product to the store.

Can't connect properly

This product was not thoroughly tested before put on the market and is a huge disappointment. The system is NOT stable and looses connection regularly. Do not waste your money getting the extended customer support either as they can't fix a coding or hardware problem. The fact that this products firmware has been updated numerous times bares witness to the lousy programming. Similar issues are also being reported in their Orbi WiFi 6 system so I expect this is a developmental issue.  Buyer beware.

Dropped connection satellite problems do not buy

Unfortunately this product is not compatible with Google Assistant--very surprising. After hours trying to install I found in the fine print of Google Assistant app as well as elsewhere on NetGear website that lists all compatible devices with Google Assistantt but MR60 is absent.
