I bought this as my daughters and I don't like the feel of liquid/greasy sunscreens on our faces. This makes our skin stay soft throughout the day, and protects our sensitive skin! My girls don't fight this sunscreen stick, and can apply it themselves so it's a win win!

I use it mainly on my grandkids' faces.  It doesn't run into their eyes like a lotion sunscreen, yet it can be used on their eyelids.  It goes on easily and its wide stick  gives good coverage protection to noses, cheeks, even to the back of their ears, as well as shoulders... areas which receive the most sun exposure and are more sensitive.  Again, it doesn't run into eyes!  Its a great product in my opinion!

This is exactly what I was looking for...for full coverage of my face.  It has over 20% zinc, which is what is recommended by dermatologists.  I just wish it was bigger for the price.  It's smaller than a deodorant size, more like a trial size.  We will see how long it lasts.

Love the stick applicator as it is super convenient to carry and easy to apply. It goes on sheer, and is not sticky. It actually feels very light and almost dry. I apply it over make-up and moisturizer. I live in Florida, and sunscreen is an every day necessity. Some sunscreens go on as a white lotion, and you have to rub it out. Not so with this Neutrogena—it glides on clear, soft, dry, beautiful. I haven't noticed any smell either. You won't mind wearing it everyday, especially on your face. You might even look forward to it like I do! Be safe, and protect your skin from sun damage.

Sunscreen for everyday

I discovered  this last yr, by accident. Personally, I dislike oily, scented sunscreen that gets on your clothing and feels slippery. I used to use the spray on but found it was tough to reapply out on the water. I then bought their dry, lightweight lotion. That was fine until I had it on my hands when fishing or scratching my eye. I then found this stick. 
Game changing results…applies without touching, easy to reapply, fits in my pocket, no waste of product while outdoors, no slime to the touch, dries lightweight doesn't have a scent and doesn't get on clothing.
Best of all, on those days when the sun is beating down, and there's no relief, I pull it out of my ice-filled cooler and reapply.
Yes, it's a bit pricey but worth the dry touch, scent free, sunscreen results.

Amazing, simple, dry touch, scent free sunscreen

I love the sunblock stick & the zinc is barely visible (especially compared to other zinc sunblocks). However, it can transfer too easily to your clothes. I also noticed a zinc stain on the inside of my car door where I had used my arm to push the door open. For this reason I will stick with Neutrogena's non-zinc sunblock stick next time (the yellow Beach Defense one) which seems to work equally fine without having this issue. You can clean the zinc off, but it's an extra (& unanticipated) step.

I bought this sunscreen because my skin sometimes react to chemical sunscreen. So I wanted to try something different. Because I like so many of the Neutrogena products, I ordered this one and tried it the very next morning. I knew that it would cause a white cast, but even after half an hour, the cast was still very evident without penetrating the skin. Still, I tried to put make-up on, but it did not work at all. The Make-up would not sit on the skin and created white little flakes once in touch with the sunscreen. I will not use it and may try to return it to the store.

I tried it on both of my sons. One went on excellent, the other had a horrific reaction that lasted about 2 days. Red, swelling, hot to the touch, looked as if his face was burnt. I really wanted to love this product… but just beware if you have sensitive skin.

Beware for sensitive skin types!

Use Neutrogena Clear Face instead. This sunscreen was terrible. I wanted to try a stick sunscreen to avoid having to wash my hands once more during my routine since hard water has been wreaking dryness havoc on my hands. But this sunscreen did everything I don't want a sunscreen to do. It gave me horrible white cast and would not absorb into my skin no matter how much I rubbed it in, it just sat on top and moved around if I touched or scratched my face. Which was constantly because my skin felt irritated and itchy until it wore off.
