For price, compared to wood, these are a good price. (I paid around $200ea, the price kept changing at checkout.) I purchased 2, one for either side of our couch, very good investment. They are about 3in taller than our couch, but I got used to it. I was worried the Large may be too small for our 60lb pit, but she fits perfect in it. Our smaller lab, no problem. Easy to clean, easy to assemble. Dogs love them. The grey goes well with my farmhouse-ish style, not too bold.

Piper has separation anxiety but feels safe in her “home”.  I leave the door open when I am at home but close her in when I'm gone. She spends a lot of time in it during the day as she sleeps about 20 hours a day. The exlarge wire crates were not tall enough or wide enough.

assembly was so easy, just 8 plastic bolts, and it looks like an end table!  we got the large in gray but it's more like a dove gray, which we like even better. this is 36x24, plenty spacious for our 30 lb beagle to stand up, turn around and stretch. the bars are aluminum so he can't chew his way out. the body of the house is super heavy duty plastic. i say "plastic," but it's quite sturdy. getting it on a half price sale made this even sweeter!

Crate looks nice  however the bars rattle if the dog bumps the sides of the crate.  The latches are very easy for a determined dog open. The material of the crate is correlated plastic and I feel a determined dog could chew through it. But if the dog is crate trained and comfortable staying in a crate, the is a nice looking functional crate

they are nice looking crates but they didn't last long.

This lasted 16 days with my almost 30 lb puppy. He was getting his belly petted in front of his box, and his back legs pushed against the open door (not very hard) and the front top and bottom materials (above and below the hinge) broke, and the door fell out. It is now un-usable, and we will have to put him back in a metal crate. It's super cute, and I wish they had sturdier ones that look like these on the market.
