So, I got these for my son for track. I know they’re not the “recommended” track running shoes, but he likes them. These are the most comfortable shoes he can find. He does have a wide foot so that’s a is with New Balance. He also has a pair of cleats from NB that he loves. Overall? I do recommend these for running or everyday wear, which my son does often.

New balance are the only shoes I can depend on to fit my toddler's wide feet, and last through lots of rough wear! This is our fourth pair of extra wide shoes from them and we save each pair he outgrows for our next kiddo to wear too! Great shoes that make the cost worthwhile

Excellent

Awesome Shoes for very active kids, great color and comfortable. They did cause two blisters on both small toes sides even if it was a "wide" shoe while being broken in.

Great running shoes

Basically it fits better and most importantly has a no-laces velcro strap. Asics fit ok, but the fact that their big kid sizes 4 and above are exclusively laced...just doesn't work for us. As an ADULT, I hate tying my shoes, so I can't really blame my son for having the same feeling.

This is our 2nd pair we've bought. My son has wide feet so these are perfect. The only main problem I have is the velcro. After 2 months the velcro stopped working. My husband had to glue on a new piece. This shoe is great! New Balance please work on a better Velcro piece.

Great for wide feet but, Velcro sucks!

We have always purchased new balance gym shoes for our granddaughter who is 5.  she has a high in step and needs a wide width. This particular model comes up very high in the back of the shoe she wore them one day to school and complained They hurt her feet and will not wear them again.

We have had great luck with New Balance sneakers for our kids. Our son is big for his age and has a wider foot. New Balance makes a great fitting sneaker for him. I am a bit disappointed because velcro strap failed one sneaker, and the sole started to peel off the toe box after three weeks of use. NB kids are hard on sneakers. We have had better luck with the NB Boa prducts.

Good fit, need more durability.

These sneakers fit my son great, and I love the real rubber soles on the bottom. It's convenient to have the fixed laces and velcro, but unfortunately, after just 4 weeks of wear, the fuzzy velcro on the strap no longer sticks to the spiky velcro. It appears as though the fuzzy part has gotten a little "bald", but there's plenty still there to where it should stick, but doesn't. Frustrating.

Velcro stopped sticking by week 4.

Awful. The Velcro lasted less than a month. It just stopped working. Will never buy NB Velcro again.

We had to buy new shoes a month later.

The Velcro is very poor quality. My son spent most of his time trying to keep it attached. We returned them.
