Squeaking Noise

I be love my Grandpa's (they got the velcroes!!)!!! As a 43 year old female with an AFO, these are the best shoes to go walking in! Fits my AFO perfectly, the velcroes make taking them on and off easy for someone with drop foot. And they hold up forever! This is my second pair in 6 years, as my first pair just started to be work down and in need of replacement. Overall great shoes!!

These aren't your Dad's shoes…

New Balance US

I was happy to see the wider 4w available! I was wearing the W2 widest available with the Velcro straps. When the 4w with Velcro straps was announced, I'd like to think I was the among the first wearers to order them. My toes are able to relax and spread out, and it feels so good!

4w Velcro shoes are the best

I wouldn't buy anything else. The fit, comfort level, durability and ease with hook and loop is outstanding. I have worn these New Balance bone-colored walking shoes for more than three decades.

The only shoe for me

I have worn this model for years. Very comfortable easy on my feet. This is just a replacement pair.

Old Friend

I fell from an 18ft high tree stand years ago and broke most of the bones in my foot . My toes had to be pinned to straighten. This is the only shoe that does not hurt my foot.
Thank you

shoes

My husband loves the 577 models (wide width) and has worn them for years. Last year he asked me to purchase the velcro style option and he was very happy with those, so this year again, the velcro style and a NEW color Bone. He was very happy with the new color option.

Hubby Loves the 557's

I wore six pairs of MK706BKs but they ended during the Pandemic. I ordered these when my last pair finally gave up the ghost. They are very comfortable but there is a bad squeaking between the buckle straps and the tongue and unlike noise from the soles of many new shoes, this will not go away. My next pair will be this shoe but the shoe string version rather than the buckles.

Very Comfortable but Noisy

The sneakers are great, my son loves them. Especially, because they do not use shoelaces. Unfortunately, they squeak a lot and pretty loud when he walks. None of the previous NB shoes we purchased before have ever squeaked. If it weren't for that, we would have given them 5 stars.

MW577Hv1

I've worn this model walking shoes for 5 years. The most recent purchase came with reduced padding, narrower straps and thinner leather. Clearly cost cutting measures the keep the price the same.

Cost cutting

I loved this shoe when it 1st came out and the pair lasted and lasted. When it finally died, I was delighted to see that it was still available. Alas, the shoe has had some design changes and instead of stepping into comfort, I was stepping into discomfort. I had to return them.
