I have been using the New Balance MX608v5 Slip Resistant shoes for about two weeks now, mainly for my work and also for going to college. I really like the comfort of these shoes. The slip-resistant technology actually works well  I tried walking on wet floors and the grip feels very secure. The cushioning is smooth and comfortable, and I don't feel any foot pain even after wearing them for long hours. Overall, it's a very comfortable and reliable shoe, and I'm happy with my purchase.

Amazing purchase experience

I bought these shoes to wear delivering mail for the post office and they have proven to be very good and are very comfortable. Will definitely be buying another pair when needed

Great shoes

I needed new work shoes and after a week or two I can confidently say that these got the job done. Im a wide footer so I got the wide option and although I technically could've gone with the normal width, Im glad I have a wider base to help with foot swelling and the occasional pressure from the knot in my socks pinkie toe area. The no slip is great, and the cushion is stable. Overall great purchase.

Works as Intended

I got away from New Balance after a previous pair that was advertised as WIDE seemed to be too tight, and the back wore out early because of tightness. That pair also scraped up my heel when new. I couldn't find any old-school New Balances. Plus, I dislike the huge N logo for aethstetic value. But I took a shot with the MX608v5 and have been pleasantly pleased. I ordered the color black so at least the black N blended in more, and wasn't prominent, which to me advertises “Old Man Shoe.” Outstanding walking shoe. Looks good in black.

Comfortable

It comes in regular and three wide and wider varieties: 2E, 4E, and 6E. I got 4E - very comfortable, with lots of room in the arch as well, which helps a lot with my corn proclivity. The sole is not two thick so I can drive comfortably. Slip resistance helps also. I liked it so much that I got a second pair.

Excellent shoe, excellent price!

Have been wearing these for the past month or so. I work retail so I am always on my feet. I bought these to replace my pair of Skechers. I've been wearing Skechers for years but the last couple of pairs didn't hold up very well so I figured I'd try these out. So far, the comfort level is similar. As for longevity, only time will tell. The only complaint I have about these are that they are a bit noisy when you're walking. At first, I thought the squeaky noise was due to that outer coating on the sole and it would wear off. But, I've been wearing these for a while and the noise persists. Doesn't bother me at all but keep in mind if you are wearing these in a quiet setting.

So Far So Good!! A Little Noisy

Was pretty excited about trying these out. These were my first pair of this brand, but I have family who seem to enjoy the brand on a daily basis. I bought these as a work shoe because they claim to be slip resistant, but after about 3-4 days of wearing them, my knee's started aching pretty bad. I switched back to my regular shoe & the pain went away. Needless to say I'm not very excited about these anymore...

Probably not for me

Significantly smaller than my last pair. Exact same manufacturer and Size 17 6E wide. The sole of these is almost half an inch smaller in width. They DO NOT FIT, that isn't something that stretches. There is no "break in" these are physically smaller yet sold as the exact same size as my old ones. Don't waste your money.
