I am a New Balance customer for over forty years and I have tried other “extra wide” brands, only to find that they weren’t wide enough for me. 
I’m usually a 4E width, but I thought I would try a 6E to see if it felt better than the 4E. The extra width was helpful, however , the MX 608V5, was very hard, so I had to buy inserts to make them comfortable enough to wear. I usually wear running shoes so I expected less cushioning. I love the width but I can only see myself wearing these shoes for short periods of time.

I’ve bought this same model for at least two decades as my main walking and hiking shoe. The solid comfort and reliable technology always helps me get great results on long walks. New Balance tech like Abszorb really works. 608s have an excellent fit and feel.

A sure thing every time!

It's difficult to find a manufacturer that produces an aesthetic, durable shoe for men with long, super wide feet (6EEEE), but New Balance does the job, and they keep them in stock while other manufacturers produce a short run and suddenly stop production...leaving customers searching.  These shoes are the best fitting pair I've had in my lifetime (61+ revolutions around our Sun). They are super comfortable and so far - they are one tough pair of shoes.  It's no surprise that New Balance smokes the competition, especially when it comes to XX-Wide shoes.  Bravo!

Again when you're raised on New balance you know how to walk in New balance New balance shoes or top of the line forget about waste of money on those four knock-off brands jump right in your new balance these are the best shoes any American can put on their feet

True and authentic

I am wearing orthotics in the shoe that’s why they had to be so why and they are hard to get over the orthotics, but it’s working for me. It’s the first time that my foot is not completely walking on the ground.

Orthotic Support

Needed a very wide sneaker for my special needs son and these were perfect!!!  No other brand comes close!  My son can have sneakers just like everyone else!

No one is left out!

Great for indoor sports. Wide size was perfect for my feet. I found the insole did not provide enough arch support, I replaced them with some Superfeet insoles. With the new soles, these shoes are excellent.

I've worn New Balance for at least 40 years and they have always been my favorite especially since they've always had a good selection of wide shoes. This shoe while it seem very well made etc is just not as comfortable as others I've had. I've just bought a similar priced pair of Nike(a shoe I HAVEN'T bought in 40 years) and they are so mush more comfortable.

Not comfortable.

Price point and delivery time for someone with wide feet was great. The only problem i have is how narrow the toe box is. For a shoe labeled as it is, this doesn’t feel great on the toes. Also the lack of availability in any other color

Keep n cuz they fit otherwise

NB started as an orthopedic shoe company.  I needed extra wide.  But now everything is slimmed down for appearances.  I can't get my orthotics in without risking abrasion.  That's the way it goes.
