When I first wore my FuelCell Rebel v3's, I lamented that that the ride wasn't quite as snappy and firm as the v1's I had previously worn, but after a few runs, I felt that the trade off in extra cushioning more than made up for the small difference in weight and firmness of the v1.  As a runner coming back from two major injuries and with a history of frequent stress fractures in high school and college, I had been wearing Nike ZoomX Invincible runs for their extreme cushioning, but with the Rebel v3's, i feel that the landings are just as soft, just less ""squishy"" than the Invincible Run.  New Balance seems to have hit the ""Goldilocks Zone"" in cushioning.  I can train in these, both for long runs and for tempo/fartlek runs.  I also feel that I can race in these anywhere from the 5K up to a half-marathon (because of my injury history, I will probably never do another full marathon).  I just hope that New Balance doesn't go past this optimal point in weight and cushioning, as so far, each iteration of the Rebel has been slightly heavier and more cushioned.  There are already plenty of ""Max Cushion"" shoes out there for runners who want even more cushioning and protection, such as the FuelCell SuperComp trainer.  This shoe is even better than my now discontinued Pegasus Turbos, which, until now, had been my gold standard.  Please don't feel the need to tamper with perfection, New Balance.

One Shoe That Can Do It All

Was looking for a new daily trainer and to my surprise this was an amazing purchase. Low to the ground yet very bouncy and extremely comfortable. Like running on a cloud.

I loved the new FuelCell Rebel v3 shoes the minute that I took my first running steps with them.  While incredibly light, it is well cushioned and provides good bounce.  It feels so much sturdier than the Fresh Foam X shoes that I used before it.  It is perfect for my 3-5 mile runs and feels comfortable on my feet.  My only complaint is the length of the shoelaces that are color coordinated with the shoe tops: you barely have enough room to tie the laces.  For their cost, I can't imagine how these shoes were tested with this basic feature being overlooked.  I am awaiting 5-inch longer laces that I ordered online and am hoping matches the color of the uppers.  But other than that, I am very happy with these running shoes.

Love the FuelCell Rebel v3

I have been running for three years now, this is the best running shoe by far, perfect feet, perfect cushion, lightweight and great look, it's hard to find a shoe that combines everything at the same time, NB you did it, I have been buying NIKE shoes but I am going to buy two more pairs of this shoe.

Ive been a fan of both The Rebel v1 and v2 but they just keep improving.  Version 1 was a great shoe but had very little traction on wet surfaces so I could not run in the rain with them.  Version 2 fixed that but they still had limited durability.  Now they are perfect.  A lightweight responsive shoe with the extra foam for durability and extra comfort when running longer miles.  I use them mostly for general training but they are also great for track workouts.  I especially love the fact that they come in wide.  Thanks NB for continuing to offer this option!

best ever

In love with these shoes. Just recently started running again after a long absence. None of the hip pain I've experienced with other shoes in the past, unbelievably light on foot, and I mean it when I say that these are faster than me. I just hope I can keep up with them!

New favorite

Love this shoe that combines cushion with some responsiveness. The shoe is light and protects you from being beat up after a run when you push the pace. Wouldn't recommend this for your slow recovery runs but all other runs can be done in the Rebel 3.

Fuel Cell Rebel 3

Great everyday shoe. Stable, soft, and flexible. Weighs in at 6.9 oz for a men's size 8.  I will use for 80% of my road runs.  For faster efforts or racing there are other shoes I would consider.  After I log a few hundred miles, it will be the one pair of shoes I travel in that I can also run in.

Fuel Cell Rebel v3- Bread and butter shoe for the rotation

Being a past NB Rebel v2 owner, I feel the v3 is an improvement and good overall training day shoe that is comfortable and responsive. I use the wide version which makes for a great feel for those longer easy runs. However, as much as I enjoy the feel, I don't use it or recommend it for Tempo, Track or Race Day running there are better shoes specifically for that. With it's cost, feel and use case, I highly recommend for an Easy Pace shoe or an overall shoe for the one shoe runner.

I needed to know if I'd have to size up or not . I can't return due to no receipt and wore twice that's it I hope I'd be able to get another pair in a man 7.5 if they want a good review I'm going to be selling these due to size issues
