Just the right support. Very comfortable and size with extra width is exactly what I wanted. Hard to find just a basic perfect sneaker and Joe's New Balance Outlet had the style number of what I was currently using.

Joe's New Balance Outlet

I bought 2 pair of these (white; black) and really enjoy what I'd been missing after trying another brand. I use them for everyday wear, walking, sometime gym work and love the fit -and- feel of them. I'd been a New Balance user/wearer for years, but decided to try something else - and they weren't right for me. The ""NB"" shoes are comfortable, supportive and ready to go right out of the box. ""Joe's"" was a great find for both price and delivery.

""I'm Back!""

Ordered this particular NB for a friend.  It's the only shoe he will buy.  Please tell NB Co. to always provide this style and especially in color black. Yes, it's a training shoe, but this Vietnam Veteran wears these shoes every day even tho he sometimes must size up a half size as this time in order to obtain them.

Training shoe Used as Perfect Sun-Sat Shoe

Great classic tennis shoe. Have wore them for over the last 25 yrs. It is a shame that New Balance a tennis shoe company has decided to discontinue this classic shoe. This will be my last New Balance shoe as I will need to look elsewhere when time comes to replace these. R.I.P. 623!

Classic Tennis Shoe

Excelente, talla perfecta, cómodos, lindos, perfectos.

Muy bonitos

Have used this shoe for years because it is one of the very few available in size 15 extra wide. Everyday wear. Good support. Value priced. Recently however I have encountered quality flaws in two pairs. The sole has separated from the shoe after just a short time wearing them. My intention was to contact New Balance but unfortunately life got too busy.

Used to be 5 stars

I like this shoe a lot. I walk 4 to 6 miles every day.. Have several pair which I rotate on a daily basis. Comfortable.  Used to have several foot and tendon issues before discovering the 623. However, I think they should last longer. Nevertheless, I will continue to use them.

New Balance 523

I've had several pairs of this model. They fit my foot well, comfortable to walk moderate (5+ miles) distances, good support for my weak arches. My only complaint, a minor one, is that they are a bit heavy on my feet. I suppose that goes with good support which, for me, is more important.

Overall, a good shoe for me.

Shoe is sort of an every day shoe.  Used for walking, running errands, etc., so I just wanted a comfortable but durable shoe.  This one is well made and almost fits the bill, but....toe box is really kinda tight.  If you have wide feet, this shoe in a regular width is NOT for you (or me!).  My problem is that I have no patience.  Shoe is made in wider widths, but none were available in my size in black.  So rather than wait, I ordered the shoe is regular width.  Not a great idea.  So bottom line:  This shoe runs narrow, so choose accordingly.

Tight fit!

Have worn these for years but last 2 pair fell apart quickly. I had to super glue the front of the sole back on and the "N" on the side.  Its like they were so old on the shelf they were dried out or have changed something in manufacture.
