These shoes are comfortable. They were a little big in the toe, but I wear insoles so I just kept those in the shoe on top of the insert that comes with it and it fits. I appreciate how they're suede on the outside because it's easy to wipe them when they get dirty.

My new daily shoe

New Balance US

I have been a fan of New Balance for years, but when they stopped making the shoe I liked (624) I found it hard to find a comfortable New Balance shoe. I like the leather looking shoe ; not a fan of the net/mesh look. Then I saw the 608 shoe online and thought I would give it a try. The shoe looks nice, is comfortable and I'm glad it come in wide.

Balance in my life.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am a senior & the support is great too. I have been wearing New Balance for over 20 years, tried Sketchers & brought them back to the store & exchanged them for New Balance.

Wonderful shoes!!

I have wore New Balance Shoes for a great number of years. These shoes are comfortable and I like the style. I prefer the leather type shoes and wish New Balance would update their walking shoes for us older buyers and have a bigger selection of leather styles.

The only brand of shoe that I never have to worry about fitting my feet is New Balance. Since I no longer live within fifty miles of a shoe store, that's very important. And I go to the source, because I've found that outlets like Bi-Mart seem to carry seconds that don't last as long as those sold by New Balance itself. I alternate days in my New Balance shoes and they feel good on my feet for at least four years.

The Brand I Count On

This pair of shoes are very well made- quality leather. I love the purple logo. They're very comfortable but this is a heavier shoe. It has a little more weight than the running shoes I'm used to. This shoe is perfect for long walks. IMO the shoe does run a little big. I'm an 8.5wide, I could've purchased an 8 wide

Comfortable heavier shoe

Solid shoes for every day errands and walking. I have knee issues and they're one of the only shoes I like that come in narrow and are good stability shoes. I'd like to get a bit more options with color selection. Still breaking them in but all in all I would buy them again.

Good stability and everyday shoes

My husband and I have worn NB shoes for many years and were loyal to your brand because they are or were made in America. His favorite pair is the 608. However, the pair I ordered through New Balance  were made in Indonesia and I could tell right away that the quality isn't the same. I'm very disappointed about that and hope that NB will bring their manufacturing back to America.

Make them in the USA again

I bought the 608v5 shoes to replace an old pair of New Balance cross trainers that are no longer made. Unfortunately these were not a good replacement as they were much heavier, the toe box was narrower in relation to the midfoot (ie. the midfoot was a bit too wide for me but the toe box was a but snug. You can see that the toe box on these shoes is weirdly pointy (which is not how most feet are shaped!). I also found the cuff around the ankle to be too stiff which made it uncomfortable to lace the shoes tightly (for exercising). I also found the Candied Violet colorway to sadly be more muted and not as bright as the pictures online. I returned them and the hunt continues!

Not a good fit for me

Needed new walking sneakers and decided to give these a try based on reviews.  Very disappointed ... not very cushioned and on my first walk these sneakers left me with 3 blisters!  Not sure I will be looking at New Balance anymore and definitely do not recommend these for anyone that is a brisk walker (averaging 3 miles per day).
