My kids love this game; they lost the card so I'm buying this again for them.
For me it doesn't seem that exiting just taking pictures of Pokémon; but they play this more than sword and shield or other Pokémon games.
As long as they like it; it's enough for me.

New Pokémon Snap is a great game to just chill with. It's a relaxing game with some exciting surprises, and is pretty easy for anyone to play. You don't have to have knowledge of Pokémon mechanics and typing at all, so it's good for people who don't necessarily play mainstream Pokémon games like Sword and Shield.

I am giving this only 3 stars because (1) you cannot encounter all pkmn in the game and (2) I prefer older handheld console games up to Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon. So yes, I am saying that anything from the N3DS era and before is better than these current generation pkmn games for the Nintendo Switch. Sorry New Pokemon Snap...
