I was honestly leery about buying this fan after reading the negative reviews. 

If you want a powerful blowing fan this is it and the the misting unit makes it a great fan.  You can use this fan  with or without the misting unit. 

It is easy to assemble. The misting unit is attached to the fan so you dont have to assemble this. 

This Texas heat is nothing nice so I bought it for my patio but it blows such powerful air, it cools off my 3-car garage.  I am going to buy another one for my patio.

We are really looking forward to summer in Florida. Never thought I d say that, but the NewAir AF-520B Misting Fan changed my mind.This fan provides relief from the heat. It has a lever by the hose hook up where you can adjust the amount of mist it produces. You can also use it without the misting feature, which gives it dual purpose.Our kids love getting sprayed as they run back and forth in front of the fan. We, adults, enjoy lounging outside now and even our dog can stand the summer heat with the mist.It s very easy to put together and set up. My grandsons live in the desert and LOVED the NewAir AF-520B Misting Fan I received free for review. It was easy to put together, simple to hook up to water. Their summer will be far more cool thanks to NewAir. A fabulous product for those who live in hot spots. Doesn't SOAK you, just mists.

Desert dwellers rejoice

The Florida summers can be oppressive but amazingly a little breeze and some mist and it feels significantly cooler. The fan looks great and it's easy to set up and use. It blows hard enough to cover a very large area but it's relatively quiet while it does it. If I could just get my kids to stop standing right in front of it cooling off their own faces I could enjoy it more :) It has a shut off valve where the water hose attaches so it's nice not to have to turn the hose on and off all the time. It's perfect for anyone who likes to spend time outside in the summer.

We reclaimed our backyard

With the temps soaring here in AZ, this fan really cools down the area of my backyard porch. This fan allows me to be able to spend time outside in comfort.

Misting fan

We received this product to review-- opinions are my own. Living in Texas I was more than happy to try out this fan! Usually the 100 decree summer weather keeps us inside, but now we should be able to enjoy our patio finally. The spray can be controlled with a switch to allow as much or as little mist as you would like. The kids were also thrilled with the new fan and I can already see them playing in the mist when school is out.

We received this fan for review. We were able to put it together quickly, and we used it for a couple of days inside the house as a fan without the misting function. Then we took it outside and tested the misting part of the fan. My kids loved it and got cooled off with the mist, but they did not get drenched. It would be great for hot climates or to use at parties.

We love this misting fan! It is sturdy and seems durable, but it is also lightweight enough to easily move around. It works very well and I love that you can adjust the height, the angle of the mist, and how much mist it sprays out. You do have to attach a hose for the mist to work, but you can use it as just a fan as well. It was easy to assemble in under 20 minutes. I purchased this mist fan after having purchased 2 others that were such poor quality I did not even finish assembly. I was VERY impressed when I opened the box of my NewAir AF-520B. Quality was obvious, much higher grade material and assembly was a breeze, took maybe 15 minutes, and I am very detailed oriented. Hooked it up and it immediately functioned properly and everything works great, misting was good and the price is a big plus. We can't wait until our Tucson temps soar into the 100's, which they do most everyday int he summer - up to 115 degrees is very common, to use it. Highly recommend this misting fan

Quality, easy assembly, works great

I am so excited to use this cooling fan in the summer. It gets just terribly hot outside, and this fan will make my entire patio nice and comfortable.I really like how solid the fan feels, I see no problem with it standing up to the winds and outdoor weather. I also like the multiple settings on the fan from speed to oscillating and height changes, you can really customize the area that you are trying to cool.Lastly, the price is well worth the additional time you can spend outdoors in comfort. I am really looking forward to this summer and the future ones as well . . . bring on the heat!

Cool off at a great price!

Bought this in May and did not setup until July. Wish I has setup immediately as it would have been returned to retailer. Fan shakes excessively, Mist has 2 adjustments off and shower mode. Makes odd sound when oscillating. Note that this is our second purchase of NewAir fan. The first one worked fantastically. This not even on the working radar
