Makes enough ice for our 3 person household. Who doesn't want chewable ice? Here it is, the answer! Loved it so much we bought one as a gift for friends. Great product,  easy cleaning and use.

This machine! Love the style. The ice got me hooked. I do have another ice machine. This machine i fell in love with. It was like a first date the machine brought ice in olace of the flowers. It is true your beverage get cold without the ice melt. I did soda, water, juice, nectar i did a smoothie. The eating of the ice was enjoyable. Shared some now they want a machine.

I have been wanting a nugget ice maker for several years and finally went for it. I'm so glad I did. This machine is simple to operate and keep clean. It looks great on my counter and it makes wonderful ice. Great for slushies, smoothies or just chilling with a beverage. Love it. Thanks Newair!

Finally....nugget ice on demand

From page 6 of the manual, "Registering your product information online is safe %26 secure and takes less than 2 minutes to completed..."  I just spent 40 minutes registering my purchase with Newair online.  What a hassle, and what a terrible registration process!  Had to scan my purchase receipt and then upload it.  Had difficulty populating each block.  Had difficulty getting them to accept my purchase date, and also hassled me about when entering my serial number.  Most people would probably give up and forget registering.  It does make small ice nuggets and fairly quickly.  The icemaker is fairly heavy and takes a lot of space, and because it uses water you can't avoid some minor spills and melting.  You can expect to have questions about operating and care, because the owner's manual was not thorough or well-written.  Two places it gives partial cleaning instructions and it begs more questions than it answers.  Expect to periodically drain the water reservoir into the sink or find another way to drain it where you use it.

It is super loud . Constantly loud humming. Slow producing of ice. For the excessive price this is a terrible choice.

Poor choice

The refill tank is weirdly located and makes refilling it complicated. You have to use a smaller cup or turn your water pitcher sideways. The scoop that comes with it is much wider than most water cup openings so I always make a mess. Pulling out a drawer is a hassle. I love the light. The ice is delicious. We had a NIM030SS00 and it failed on us twice, both within the first 6 months of having the machine. So I opted to get this one since it has a light. I just wish it was designed better.

Poor refill tank location

I loved the look of this ice maker and was very pleased with it for about a month. It was easy to set up and very user friendly. Sadly I woke up one morning to find water all over my kitchen counter and onto my floor. The product had power but stopped cooling. I returned it.

Looks great but not quality item

Unfortunately this item didn't operate upon arrival. After several attempts to get it to produce ice, I am returning it.
