[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well. Is easy to use...... do not buy 100 foot rolls.  They will not fit inside this unit,  only the 50 foot rolls fit neatly inside....
. The unit itself is very easy to use and quick,   Very short learning curve.... would buy this again, liked the price and replace another vacuum sealer which was much cheaper and didn't nearly function as well as this unit does.    Spend the extra money and purchase a better unit... this one is great for the price!

Foodsaver FM 5300

Food saver works great. It's a little weird to operate and almost takes two people. It's a little large for my liking as well. However, those are just nit-picky things. It does the job and works great.

I bought i think the first model in 1994 or there about and accessories over the years and its 2020 i just upgraded to the FM5330 2 in one same great product

Most valuable product

We needed a way to keep all the fresh fish from getting freezer burn. Our second trip out we ised our foodsaver and it was great. Quick easy and now we have perfect frozen fish every time.

Fisherman's best friend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well worth the money and nothing goes unsealed any more. Potato chips, cookies, everything is staying fresher.

Well needed

Overall this is a great FoodSaver. It seals well, has a separate sealer for the start of the next bag, is tilted to help keep from spilling liquids, seals well, handles wet well, and takes less counter space.  But when liquid does get sucked from the bag, it usually drips some down inside and along the front. The tray doesn't catch it well enough.  Otherwise this is a solid 5 star.

Almost perfect model

Only used the machine a few times.  Was not easy to get used to. Directions attempted to be specific but ended up too brief and a bit vague.  We felt like the designers assumed we had some sort of previous food sealing experience. Nope. Same for the online video. We eventually, after a little trial and error, were able to figure things out.

Works but not entry level friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ugly the dogs sign is great in theory, but the bar that needs to be pressed down to start the vacuum process is temperamental, in the vacuum power of the unit itself is the last than any previously owned the machine. I had much higher hopes for this unit, I will most likely look at other brands next time I am in the market to purchase a unit.

Nice design but, but not worth the purchase
