This Rubbermaid stool is the third one I've bought. The first one, which I still use,  was purchased several years ago. It has been stored in our laundry room to reach the upper shelves and in the nearby kitchen too. About a year later, I bought another one to keep in my wife's closet. There, it turned into a compact seat for her to put on her shoes as well as a convenient step stool to reach the upper shelves. My wife recently asked me to purchase a third ladder because she wanted to use it at work. The one that was already there was not as kind to her feet. The design is safe, the price is reasonable and since it is made out of tough plastic it can't rust. I highly recommend it.

This Step Stool Serves A Dual Purpose

This step stool is sturdy and stable, easy to fold for storage and can double as a chair if needed. It's a workhorse… I had one for years, it disappeared on a recent job site, so this one replaces it. This is great also when washing my SUV, no worries about tipping over and scratching the vehicle but it is also very stable on an inclined driveway.

Very functional

Bought this step stool to replace a 3 step aluminum step ladder. I never liked standing on the aluminum ladder next to my truck, it was unstable and I knew one slip up and there's a nice scratch. This step stool is stable, has a nice platform and seems to be very well made. I highly recommend this product.

Rock Solid

I actually purchased this step stool for my daughter, I've had one for years and when she got her own apartment this is the only one she wanted.  We like it because it's so sturdy and simple to fold and unfold - no button or levers to push or pull.  I was surprised at how hard it was to find, was afraid it had been discontinued.

Best Step Stool

It's light but very sturdy. I love how it stands on it's own when it's folded. It's a little too cumbersome for my 3-yr-old to use it herself, but my 6-yr-old loves it and can open it and put it away himself. I like that it's taller than a standard stool, and I can use it to reach the tops of my cabinets.

Great for me and the kids!

This is the second one I have purchased and am just as pleased as I was with the first.  It is very light weight yet very sturdy.  The top step is wide enough for you to feel comfortable standing on it.,  I have never had a problem with the first one I just moved it to the camper.  I use it instead of the steps that are on the camper.  The stool is more stable and easier to use.  Just fold them up set inside camper and off you go!  I just wish Wal-Mart would carry these in the store again. They have a very reasonable price and are so handy to have in the house.  They would sell a lot more of them is they would put back in the store!

Rubbermaid Step Stool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is exactly what I needed for my newly-renovated clothes closet.  I am now able to reach the shelves at the top with ease.  This is also ser-friendly and comforting instead of a wooden stool.

EASY CARE, EASY TO USE, LIGHTWEIGHT, PERFECT FOR MY OUTDOOR USES BUT SALT AIR/WATER DOES DEGRADE IT OVER 2 YRS AND IT FALLS APART BUT STILL A GREAT PRODUCT FOR MY PURPOSES (BOARDING-DISEMBARKING FROM BOAT).

great stool for anyone

good product, my wife has one she uses for watering the plants in the house, I was borrowing it to use on my new enclosed trailer as an entry step, but she wanted it back so I found another. Lightweight and sturdy...........only drawback was I had to superglue the rubber pads as they come loose with age.

2 tier step stool

I am 265 lbs and this thing does not seem like it will hold up long with this type of load.
It shifts or "settles" every time I get on it.
Feels like I am going to fall and I verify that the stools step is fully engaged after unfolding it.
Might work out for someone with a lighter load ;-)
