This is a great shampoo that iuse because i have oily hair. It leaves my hair light, clean and shiny. It is a great product. I combine it with the Nexxus ultra light conditioner. I can honestly say, it leaves me with salon professional hair. Lucious looking. And you really cant beat the price of it here on walmart.com.

Love nexxus. Walmart.com was able to provide on sale roll back prices for this item. I Probably wouldnt purchase this item at full price but I dont mind buying when its on sale.

i bought this trying to train my oily hair and so far i can go 2 days without washing (i used to wash everyday) so it seems to be helping with oiliness!

good for oily hair

I'm 62 and so my hair is not anything like when I was young. This shampoo is the only one  that brings it back to my youth. I love the smell and the way my hair looks and feels after shampooing.

It's hard to find and I am so glad my Walmart carries it. Then again they carry everything.

Get this shampoo!

Great hair

I have short hair, bobbed almost. This product leaves my hair looking shiny and it has plenty of body, it isn't weighted down at all. It's something that I will use everyday. I just wish that the manufacturer had infused it with more of a "girly" scent.

Very nice, leaves hair soft but easy to manage.

My husband has very oily hair.  He can wash it in the morning and in just a few hours it looks bad.  This shampoo seems to help.  He has been using it for 2 weeks now and his hair looks good all day.

A lightweight, effective shampoo that cleans well

The ingredients are amazing. This shampoo works well with my fine, straight hair. My scalp is typically oily 1 day after I wash my hair, but my hair still looks great after 2 days with this shampoo. Also great for damaged hair, I've bleached my hair multiple times & this is good for breakage.

Nexxus Shampoo for oily hair

I decided to treat myself and bought this Nexxus shampoo. I thought that because of the brand and the price tag, it would help my hair look a little less unruly. Nope. For the price, this doesn't do anything better than the $6 OGX I purchased last. The pros are that the shampoo does smell quite nice. It doesn't impart any strong scent to your hair but leaves you with a light scent that is pleasant. It lathers up quite a bit. The cons are that it didn't help my hair be any less oily between shampoos and it doesn't seem to improve the appearance of my hair in any discernible way. I can say I tried it. I probably wouldn't buy it again unless its on sale.

Average Shampoo

UPDATE to previous review:
After using this shampoo and conditioner for several months I have to update my review. The Hyrdra-Light dried my hair out something awful!  It looked and felt terrible. I have found a new shampoo and conditioner in a competitor of Nexxus. Unfortunately, I am through with Nexxus products. Too bad they have to "improve" on tried and true formulae.

Previous review:
For a very long time I used Therappe and Humectress. And then the formula was changed and the results were awful (you can read my reviews). I knew I had to find a new shampoo and conditioner but wasn't quite ready to give up on Nexxus yet. After reading reviews, I decided to give Hydra-Light a try and I can say that I'm pleasantly surprised. While the results aren't exactly the same as with Therappe and Humectress, it's very close. My hair has body again and will hold a style for quite some time. And Hydra-Light smells fantastic! A very refreshing scent. I'm so glad I found Hydra-Light and I HOPE they don't change this formula anytime soon.
