But i was pleasantly surprised! the colour is bright and shiny, even shows some nice hints of red. great grey coverage too. the colour matches the box shades exactly. And it really was easy!

I have just recieved & tried Clairol Nice 'n Easy shade 9/103 (natural light neutral blonde), i am very satisfied overall...the smell wasn't overbearing, it was extremely easy to use, the gloves that is comes with are good quality, not thin plastic.. it took only 25 minutes to cover my roots, blend grey hair, -AND- add different tones/shades of blonde/highlights!! I would recommend this product to anyone, wether you have colored your hair at home before, or not. This product will replace my previous brand! I love the color results. Very close to the shades on the box. Love it!

Love it more than my old brand!

In one particular photo, I saw just how awful my hair looked as my roots were starting to show. I just received my Clairol Nice 'N Easy Root Touch Up kit in the mail and was excited to give it a try. What I loved about it was the fact that it only took 10 minutes to cover up those nasty roots! It matched my current hair colour perfectly. I am definitely sold on this product and I make sure I always have a box handy now. I totally recommend this product to anyone who wants to have salon quality results without ever having to leave home!

Say goodbye to ugly roots!

My hair looks nourished and vitamins. The color seems really natural. It is an excellent coloring choice. I want the coloring to be durable and not fade too quickly.

Very satisfied

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been colouring my hair for over 20 years now. Always to maintain or try to, my natural medium brown colour. From the highend, expensive to the lower cost name brands, I have never found one favourite. Some were easy to use, others fussy. Some coloured well, others nothing as promised on the box, or even close to what the colour should have been. Some left my hair soft and shiny, others dried it out. Some left behind a cleaner scent but most made my hair smell very chemically. Finally, there was no differential of quality or performance between the $14.00 brand or the $5.00.
I really like this one. In keeping with my brown hair, I chose 5G Medium Golden Brown, shifting my shade slightly lighter and Clairol Nice and Easy with CC conditioner ticked off all of the positives. Easy to use because the colour is a liquid, just pour it in. No fussing with squeezing a tube trying to get it all into the active ingredient. The scent has a slight chemical smell but rinsed out and left no trace of chemical in my hair. The colour matched perfectly, covered my grey roots, and the CC cream left my hair shinier than it has ever been. As well, after checking in several stores, Nice and Easy falls into the middle to lower middle of the price scale.
I have long hair, close to halfway down my back. There was plenty of product to use on my entire head of hair ( a couple of times with other brands, it was a tight squeeze) and more than enough of the CC conditioner for two more shampoos which is very much appreciated.
Truly a keeper.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I think that the Clairol Nice 'N Easy Root Touch-Up is a great product. It was very easy to use and covered up all the spots that needed covering. It was great to stay home, save money and get salon style results.

Quick & Easy

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I regularly dye my hair about 4 maybe 5 times a year with Garnier Belle Coleur Light Auburn or Dark Golden Blonde. I previously used Nice'n Easy, years ago when I used the lightest Blonde shade available and I loved the results and colour.

With the BzzAgent campaign, I was able to test out the shade of Natural Light Brown. The colour was darker than I was used but I love the condition it left my hair in. My hair did not have any breakage after usage, it had a great shine. One box was not enough for my hair, I would need 2 boxes in the future. I was able to dye the properly the top of my head, the sides, spread the rest on the remainder of my hair. Two boxes would have given me excellent coverage. The conditioner in the box was not enough, I supplemented with my own conditioner mixed with coconut oil. I am a Black woman with thick, coarse, porous hair that reaches past the middle of my back when stretched or straightened.

This product is relatively easy to use. I experienced no burning, the smell was pleasant and it was easy to clean up.

My Nice and Easy campaign

It was easy to apply and didn't smell as strong as some other dyes. It covered my greys nicely and left my hair feeling soft and looking shinny. Overall I am happy with Nice n' Easy and would recommend it to my family and friends.

Better then Expected!

I normally have my hair coloured every 6 months or so, but since I've gone blonde I'm finding it needs to be done more often since my roots begin to show sooner. I was about to make a hair appointment when this arrived, and decided to give it a try.
This product comes with the dye itself, and a little brush tool to brush the product nice and close to your roots. It gives a reasonable amount of precision. The instructions were pretty clear. The one thing I would have like to see on the box is one of those little charts that shows how the colour appears on different colours of hair.
Overall it worked quite well and I was able to put off making a hair appointment for a little longer.

The best use I can see for this would be touching up your roots if you have a special event coming up and you don't have time/money to get in for a hair appointment.

Stretch out your salon visits

Extra bonus with Clairol Nice'N Easy Touch up is there isn't residual chemical smell left behind after the rinse or any strong processing smell while using this product. Confidence in a small tray! There was no drip while applying with the brush provided, it was like a dream product. I had never used any root touch up product before and had my doubts it would blend in naturally. I was pleasantly wrong, my hair has body, nice texture, a natural look, and no more platinum streaks (grey). If you want to look fabulous and have it a secret you use any grey cover this product is for you. Natural beauty! I loved this product and will for sure use it again.

Clairol Nice'N Easy Root Touch up

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have naturally dark brown coloured hair so I thought choosing Natural Radiant Auburn would look nice.
I did a colour-test on a strand of hair and left it on for about 40 minutes. After the time had passed, I couldn't wait to see how the colour would come out!
I was confused and disappointed to see that my hair had not changed one bit! Comparing the test strand to another un-treated strand, the two were identical. Even the mixture on the strand had remained its original while colour! I certainly did thoroughly mix the ratio of the two proper bottles correctly! Did I just get a dud?
I then decided it would be pointless to continue with the assignment but the next day, I decided to remove two tablespoons of the Color Blend Activator and replace it with two tablespoons of 30 volume peroxide. I added the Color Blend Formula and shook the bottle and then the mixture changed from white to a dark colour. I applied the eye-wateringly, strong-smelling mixture to my hair and left it on for about 40 minutes, rinsed, conditioned, blow-dried and saw my new colour.
The results are pretty nice. I was expecting a bit more of a darkish red, but I'm happy enough with the my new colour.
The CC ColourSeal conditioner was nice. It smelled pleasant and left my hair feeling very soft. The included gloves were nice because they are a bit textured, not like the usual thin cling-wrap type that often comes with dyes. The applicator bottle is typical of the other dyes I have used in the past and the instructions were easy to follow.
Had I obtained the same colour results without having to tweak the mixture, I would have given the product 4 stars (-1 for the strong odor). I would have been so upset if I had to pay for the product as it was, even though Radiant Auburn is stated as optimal results on light to dark brown hair, it literally did nothing until I had changed the formula.

I'm So Unimpressed That I'm Glad It Was Free!!
