I used to buy the cheap Revlon hair dye until I found this one! There's an obvious difference in how long lasting the dye is. And! It comes with a generous amount of after-color conditioner. Usually hair dye will come with the bare minimum conditioner; this brand puts the "nice" in nice %26 easy! 🥰

Pretty good! I try all the cheap hair dyes to cover my greys and this one last a few weeks. Not no 22 washes, more like 10 before the greys come out.

I have been using the Nice n Easy shade 9 G light golden blond for as long as I can remember. I noticed that the last two packs I bought had a new model image on the front and it never crossed my mind that perhaps the actual product has changed. But I have just read these reviews and it appears to be that the formula has changed ….. and I agree, for the worst! My hair looks and feels awful after colouring it a couple of days go. It's flat, lifeless and a horrible monochrome colour. I would never have imagined such a change in a product. So, I won't be buying any more. Such a pity as it was so good.

Clairol

Have used this for two years and the change in formula has absolutely ruined the product. Doesn't even dye new growth properly. Colour doesn't stick so now I am left with banding that can be seen when I am in daylight. I beg please change the formula back to old one I can't cope.

New formula is shocking

The new formula is terrible! I'm so disappointed and will have to find a new hair dye now. At first I thought's it was just me so I tried again but the same terrible results and now checking the internet I can see that I am not the only one having this issue. I just don't see how the new formula passed testing. To make matters worse I stocked up as I have so many trips and events coming up that I wanted it in the house ready to go. What a waste.

Terrible. Do not use the new formula

I have been using Nice'n Easy 5 Medium Brown for at least five years to cover my grey hair. They have changed the formula lately, and the new formula no longer covers my grey hair properly.
It's sad to have to find an alternative brand to use, but please consider changing it back to the previous formula, as it was by far the best.

New formula no longer cover grey hair

The formula has changed. I noticed my hair began to slough off and break when I used the conditioner supplied. I thought it was my imagination and that my hair was just shedding. Now my hair is severely damaged. I don't have a perm or use anything that would cause breakage except for the hair color. I have resorted to wearing a wig. The color is off too. I use the medium auburn, 5R. Recently, it has turned the previous colored hair almost black. This never used to happen. Looking for another product. Will never use Clairol again. Have an unused box. Returning ASAP.

Formula change caused my hair to break

Have been using this colour for mmany years to cover my greys.  This time it has not covered at all, leaving me with a different coloured regrowth stripe, the new formula is shocking. When washing it out I noticed th colour was a different colour then reading these reviews can see that it is not just me having a problem with this new formula.  Clairol you need to sort this out as you have lost a valued customer and now i need to find something to match my colour that will colour the greys.
