25 Dec 2025: Unfortunately, I am unable to provide a fair assessment of the product. There is a malfunction with the battery. And I am unable to charge it. do anything with the camera. Because it is a Christmas present, I was unable to feed my anticipation of being able to unbox and explore the camera.  The battery does not seem to be charging. I immediately experienced the flashing light (8 times per second) indicating a malfunction with either the battery/charger/or both. I am very disappointed. 

26  Dec 2025: Update - I went to a local camera shop to have the battery checked out and the camera powered up to determine if there were any more surprises.  The battery is the issue. I purchased another battery. The camera powered up with a new battery. 

I can confidently say the camera meets expectations.  I am hopeful Walmart will provide a functioning battery as replacement for the malfunctioning battery.

My anticipation met with a whimper.
