The Nintendo Switch 2 is a polished upgrade that improves on nearly everything fans liked about the original.
It keeps the hybrid design but adds a sharper display, better performance, and smoother gameplay. The updated Joy-Cons feel more reliable and comfortable, and load times are noticeably faster. It handles modern games much better, though it’s still not as powerful as top-tier consoles.
Battery life and online features are just okay, not standout.
Verdict: A solid, refined upgrade—perfect if you already love Nintendo’s ecosystem, but not a must-buy for everyone.

overall the Switch 2  is an awesome upgrade from the original, However it's definitely on the heavier side and it's quite large so be aware of that, I highly recommend a grip for it.

this is not the console I'd recommend if you're playing AAA games or the newest fps. I highly recommend this system if you're interested in Nintendo games exclusively. it will definitely play new games decently but don't expect to have great graphics.

Great console for enjoying Nintendo games

I was able to buy the switch 2 and Mario kart bundle day 1 from Walmart and was super excited about it. The console is really well designed and a long awaited upgrade from switch 1, and there are already a few really fun games.

Got lucky on day 1!

Son loves the upgrade from the the regulator  switch. The SD card was an additional 85.00 due to the type it takes and it is not the same as the older switch and is not included so please be sure to buy one. Everything transferred  from the first switch to the new one very easily. Graphics are better and the screen is bigger and is nothing but an improvement than the first. Son has special needs and he is very much into sonic and Mario and his switch is very important to him, so if he says it great than it is great! 10/10 would recommend!

Nintendo is at it again. Sleak design, the new controller mechanics are an obvious upgrade. Backwards compatibility with Switch games is amazing. 120 FPS Zelda? Yes please! 4K? Yup, that's there too. Well done Nintendo, well done. I just unplugged my PS5 Pro for this, and my family and I are loving every minute of it.

Nintendo For The Win

Amazing console. Big upgrade from switch 1.
Marion Kart World had a rough start but now it's really good. 
Switch 2 is getting and getting more exclusives so it's a good moment to get it

I love the console. Fun games, great power, easy to pack up and take with me on the road. Compared to the original Switch, the Switch 2 feels better in every way.

Game on.

Nintendo systems are always expensive  when they are first released,  so I was not surprised by the price. My 18 year old son loves gaming and Nintendo has always been his favorite. He is gonna be so happy to see this under the tree from Santa! Plus, it comes with a Mario cart game too!

Nintendo Rocks!!

The Switch 2 is honestly incredible. One of the best handheld consoles I've used, easily up there with the PS Vita. Performance, screen, and overall experience are great.
That said, there are a couple of downsides. The push toward digital-only games isn't for everyone, and the battery is disappointing. If I don't use it for 1–2 days, it's almost completely drained. My  Switch 1 could sit for a week and still hold a good charge.
Still a great console, but those issues are hard to ignore.

Amazing console, but battery needs work

This reviews late yet fair. The Switch 2 is a good ipgrade for anyone who bought a switch one early in its life span. the loading is faster. The graghics pop. Yet the Joy cons are still small and really the battery life gos fast. Mario kart world is a great pack in title the game alone however is over priced at most it should be droped by 10 dollars.

There was no seal on the box and when you look up to see if the code is supposed to be a card inside the box it just says some come with a card and some prompt you on the shop to download the included game.
So I hade to set up the whole switch to make sure the game was included and hot not been tampered with since there was no seal. This is a Christmas present for my child and would have been nice if I didn’t have to pull it out and set it up to make sure the game was included
