Over all we are impressed.. we got a great deal on the bundle. It came very quickly. I would have liked the switch to be maybe bubble wrapped instead of just a box in a box. It was sliding around a bit you could tell. The corners of the switch box were a little beat up. But there were no scratches or dents on the console  so we were happy. Nice surprise that it came with the joy-con grip.

The free digital download of Mario cart worked perfectly. We were able to download it with no issues. Did take a bit of time but I mean it was a whole game being downloaded. So no reason to complain about that. It also came with a free year membership subscription to Nintendo eshop.

Received as a Christmas present. Awesome system, screen size, and features. I've been spending way too much time playing games...LOL I'm having so much fun and wish I had gotten one sooner. I can't complain. I was able to purchase during holiday sales.

New favorite toy

Amazing deal for a swich oled, mario kart 8, and 12 months of switch online, normally all this would total to 430$ but for 300, absolute deal :).
I will add thou that the switch online is just that, which means that you can't play some nes, snes, and n64 games and won't have the booster pack/dlc for mario kart.

The Nintendo Switch OLED is a fantastic upgrade over the original Switch, especially for handheld gamers. Here's a breakdown of what makes it great:

Pros:

✅ Gorgeous 7-inch OLED Screen – The biggest selling point. The colors are more vibrant, blacks are deeper, and everything looks sharper.
✅ Improved Kickstand – The new wide, adjustable kickstand is way more stable than the flimsy one on the original Switch.
✅ Better Audio – Enhanced onboard speakers provide clearer and richer sound.
✅ Increased Storage – 64GB internal storage (double the original Switch's 32GB).
✅ Ethernet Port in Dock – More stable online gaming with a built-in LAN port in the dock.

Cons:

❌ No Performance Upgrade – It still has the same CPU and GPU as the original Switch, so no graphical boost or frame rate improvements.
❌ No 4K Output – Despite rumors, the OLED model still maxes out at 1080p when docked.
❌ Battery Life is the Same – Around 4.5–9 hours, depending on the game, same as the 2019 revised Switch model.

Final Verdict

If you play a lot in handheld mode, the OLED screen alone makes it worth upgrading. The colors, contrast, and display quality are a massive improvement. But if you mainly play docked, there's not much reason to upgrade since performance remains unchanged.

great choice

I've wanted a switch for years and finally decided to buy one. My kids absolutely love it. The OLED screen is very nice and the entire console is all great quality. It is a breeze setting up and there are no complaints.

This is a great device to help our family have fun! We get to show our daughter all the old school games we grew up with and play together.  The bundle is a great value for what your gaining with the free membership.

Amazing

The Nintendo Switch is so cute and handy. It's also family friendly (but can cause fights too because of those cute difficult games). My husband and I play games in the switch as our bonding. Some handheld games aren't as that friendly. The downside is if you have to bring it out, you have to bring a powerbank to charge it cause the battery drains a bit fast. The cute thing about it too is that you can customize it by buying some cases and button caps.

A couple's frenemy

I absolutely love it and have played it almsot daily since I've gotten it. I got it for Black Friday, and now it's only the second week of December, and the bottom right corner of the screen is popping up. I'm not sure why, and usually, I just press it back down, but be warned. I'm not sure if it will get worse yet, but I'm worried about it.
