When I read the the reviews after I first ordered it, I was worried, it came today and I realized, it's not so bad! The box may be damaged and it might be a switch from japan, asia, I don't know about uk and us but possible, I got my splatoon 3 oled from asia, and it was perfect, everything was fine, shouldn't be region locked and NO, nothing is missing from the box. I ordered it from seller “Golden Century Deals”, Good luck for future buyers, hope you have as good experience as me!

Exactly what I imaged after going back and forth trying to decide what color model I was going to get for the OLED… I haven't gamed in a while but I needed something to do on down time as a Linux admin and learning code… I chose the limited edition cuz it's my favorite colors everything matches in the box fits perfect on my desk

I got in the mail and was honestly disappointed at first cuz it's the Hong Kong version but after playing on it I realized that the only difference is the packaging. It's the same as the USA version and it's so cute , I really do like it . If ur debating but scared of not getting the USA one , just do it . It's the same either way and this system is so cute ! You'll be happy you did .

Ordered this but nowhere did it say it was going to be a Japanese version. Did research and they are not region restricted, but I wish I would have known it was not a us version. Would have went the Pokémon one from another site if I wanted a different country model.

Received Japanese model.

I did not like that even though the picture shows a USA model, I indeed recieved a Japanese model. So the warranty is void because I do not live in Japan. I really think this is something that you should very clearly advertise or at least have the correct picture for the listing

This was a Japanese version. No where in listing did it tell you that. I contacted Nintendo Nintendo said while the game works if you ever need repairs Nintendo USA can't do them even warranty repair. They said we would need to ship the item to Japan  so basically sane price no warranty  I returned immediately

Do not buy

The Switch I received was nkt made for use in America.  The seller was aware of this because they included a cheap voltage adapter in the shipping box.  It would have been great if this information was disclosed to me in the item description. I am aware that Switch's are not region locked, but it would have been good business practice to have let the customer know that this was not a product made for use here.  I did not wish to gamble on whether or not this Switch would have any voltage conversion issues, etc and chose to return it. Product received was NOT as advertised.

There are not intended for use in America.

When I received the switch I thought “COOL! it's a Japanese box!” I was fine with it because the switch is not region locked. But when I opened the box and looked at the joycons, it looked fine from the front… but the back, they looked fake and cheap. You can somewhat see through the back piece, almost like it's thinner plastic than regular joycons. I have joycons of my own and they are solid plastic, unlike these where you can tell it's cheap plastic. Then let's get to the tablet. They sent me the Pokémon Scarlett and Violet tablet! The tablet itself felt fine by the touch, but very disappointing that I was sent the wrong one. The doc itself was correct but the cables were already plugged into the doc? You can tell this was pre-owned/pre-opened which the seller did not specify. Overall this was a terrible experience. I returned it in store about a day after I got it. Now I have the TOTK OLED which I bought in store, this one is much more high quality and you can tell by just looking at it from a far. Never buying from this company again.

wrong tablet   defective joycon

I purchased this the Splatoon 3 Special Edition Nintendo Switch Oled as a Christmas gift. Instead of the North American model I received a Japanese model. The description and photos clearly showed the American model. I found out 4 days before Christmas and had to return it to the local store and buy a basic White one, instead of the one I wanted, in order to have the gift in time.

I cant find this exact box anywhere on yt or Google images, definitely been opened ,other than all that and the fact it's the same price as the American version it works fine...delivery guy beat the crap out of delivery box too
