[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a christmas gift for my grandson. I wont know anything about it until after Christmas

- For the price it works very well. There's a very large gash on the top of the console but that's to be expected and doesn't affect the console itself at all. The sound system also seems to work very well. I haven't tested the disc reader yet but I don't see any surface level issues with it and I expect it will work. The console itself was very easy to set up and I think anyone would be able to do so without much hassle.

- The Wii remote and Nunchuk both also seem in decent condition, the Wii remote seems to have an issue with the A button, sometimes it takes a few clicks to register. I will likely be purchasing a 2nd remote. That said the included remote *appears* to be authentic and original (not 3rd party) which is a big plus for me as a fan of original hardware.

- The sensor bar is a little spotty but maybe I need to readjust it? If that doesn't work I will likely try to replace it.

- I was disappointed to receive a region-changed Japanese Wii instead of the USA version I was expecting to purchase and I can't find anywhere that says this would be the case. This feels quite deceptive to me as it was not clear until after receiving the console that each one sold by this seller would be (originally) a Japanese Wii. Luckily I did not update my Wii as doing so would have had the potential to brick my console.

- This doesn't affect this review at all but I'm going to add for anyone expecting differently that the console does not come with a Motion Plus controller/remote which may be contributing to the spottiness I feel with the sensor bar, I'm not really sure. That said if you purchase this product I would recommend getting a Motion Plus remote or an attachment for the included controller remote separately which I will be doing as many classic games require it.

All in all I give it an 8/10 (or 4/5). Overall despite minor issues I'm very happy with my purchase and would buy it again despite initial skepticism with buying refurbished products. It would work very well as a gift for yourself or the whole family without breaking budget if you're okay with some potential imperfections here and there.

Very good purchase for the price with minor issues

The  system works ok- seems to take longer to load with some discs than others- also thought would be getting a black remote which is what showed on the image when selecting the color, but instead got a hot pink with a white nunchuck - packaging was great very detailed and protected it very well. Overall happy with it thus far.

Worth it!

would have given a 5 star but it was not a set as described or depicted. console was black but the remote and nunchuk were white . it works and is for me so im ok with the deception.

I would've gave the wii a five star since I absolutely loved playing it as a kid but unfortunately I had to give this a two star review in my opinion. It came after only a few days of ordering it which was awesome. But the unfortunate part was the description for the console said refurbished like it new but after putting in games it doesn't read any discs and can't be played, so now I'm having to take it to someone to look at it and figure out why it's not working. Basically paid 80 bucks not including taxes for a console that doesn't work as advertised which was most unfortunate and sad. I'm hopefully that the next people who buy one of these gets one that works and isn't stuffed with dirt on the interior of the console and actually will allow them to play the games they buy for it.

Not what I was hoping for but hopeful to be fixed.

It came scratched up with a piece hanging off the player itself I should've read the comments before I bought this piece of junk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The console its self is scratched multiple places on both sides. The console is black and it shows to come with a black remote to match but the remote I got is white. The toggle switch remote is rusted where it plugs in and it's nasty. The power source that plugs from the console to the wall is also rusted. I know it was used but the description said “like new”. I can't give this to my son for Christmas from Santa. I'm very discouraged and disappointed.

Very bad condition. Wasn't as described. Sorry could not give it 0 stars
