Top quality, I'm a trucker and have used most all other cellphone holders, and they all turn out to be junk, this is absolutely the best cellphone dash mount on the Market hands down. If you are tired of spending your hard earned money on the garbage they sell in the truck stops, do yourself a favor and buy the last cellphone holder you will ever need.

I used a competitive product for a while, but after a year the suction cup mechanism broke and the mount just bounced around while I drove.  I saw the Steelie system, liked the robustness of the design and bought my first one.  I was immediately impressed with how well it was constructed and how simple it was to set up and use.  My wife saw it and wanted one for her car.  She's also very pleased with it.

Fast forward several months and my company is getting ready to do a demonstration where we were doing a live drive to show people our platform and app for effectively eliminating distracted driving.  Without hesitation I bought 3 more Steelie mounts to place in the demo vehicle to hold phones so we could maximize the audience with each drive.  They performed perfectly.  In fact, several of the participants asked about them and indicated that they were going to get one for their car.  And, one of my colleagues asked about them as well and plans to make a purchase for his and his wife's cars.

Stuck like glue

I've had several other dashboard phone holders and they were all mostly awful:  some popped off the dash, others wouldn't hold the phone at the right angle, or the phone would pop out.  Problem solved with the steelie - it stays exactly where you put it, and you can adjust the phone to any other angle.  I badly need a new phone, but wasn't going to get one until I could get a steelie magnet for it.  So happy they came back in stock!

Great Product!

Needed a simple, low profile solution to mount a radio mike next to and behind the shift lever in a center console that also did not interfere with the e-brake lever. Looked at several options at Overland MW that required a base, arm, adaptor base and finally the mount that would have stood significantly higher than the shifter. This works as I envisioned and has just the strength needed.  It can also be moved around on the ball if necessary to keep Mike out of the way...

Great for GMRS Mike mount!

Love the design but only problem is with the magnet itself not being as strong as I'd like. Some surfaces I magnetize phone to it won't hold and slides down especially if it's not perfectly flat. I use it on some equipment at the gym. This is primarily where I've had a problem with it. I had one for a previous phone and it held no problem. The phone doesn't really seem much larger or heavier than the old so only thing I can think of is the magnet isn't as strong as one I bought several years ago. Both same brand.

Good product, need a little stronger magnet

The suction apparatus on this is exceptional compared to other apparatus that I've used. It sticks no matter what with just suction, no sticky, tacky component to it. It also comes off easily when I need to take it out of my vehicle to put in another vehicle. I had to purchase a bigger magnet component to work with the MagSafe on the iPhone 13, as when I bought the windshield kit, it was not part of the kit. The magnet part works great.  I have two issues with this unit. I wish the arm telescoped to make it longer or shorter. The second issue is the ball-peen doesn't hold in place if I am using the unit in a vehicle that has a bumpy ride. My phone falls forward so I can't see the GPS. It stays put if I am in a smooth touring vehicle.

Exceptional suction to windshield

I bought this to mount my iPad mini on the yoke of my airplane. The magnet held strong from separating but it slid around on the ball if not perfectly centered or with any bumps. Unfortunately this was not the solution I was looking for.

Slides Around On Ball

Unable to mount and use. I have a 2012 Dodge 1500 pickup. There is no place on the dash to mount the ball that does not severely block important functions. I had purchased this due to a newly acquired used Mustang that had the mounted ball already. I mostly use the truck with the Mustang as my sunny special day driver.
