It comes with a tie down strap, a partition of your battery's smaller, 2 ties and 4 screws (stainless) to secure it to the floor. It DOES fit a group 29 deep cycle battery with 1” of room length wise. It has two ports for wires per positive and negative. I was about to use 6 guage awg wire plus charging cables and shut the lids. So for those of you with 12volt (parallel) 24v and 36v guys you won't have a problem tying them together. I'm 100% happy with the boxes and they look great!

This battery box is great for large batteries.  I use an Interstate SRM-27 (battery group 27M) and its dimensions are 6.75" x 12.75" x 9.50".  The box includes a spacer, and there is actually some room for a slightly larger battery.

Other battery boxes stress that they include a battery box strap.  This listing was unclear, so I bought the strap separately.  However, this *does* include a battery strap in addition to the shown spacer.

The product is fine.  Very good actually.  I am just not happy that between manufacture and delivery someone removed the inner spacer and strap it was supposed to come with.   I ordered two of these boxes and the other one came with everything.   I don't want to have to return it to Walmart and reorder another.   Wish they could just follow up and ship the contents.

Normally great product.

I'm using this to house a deep cycle RV battery for time when our home power goes down. This happens all too often, so I have this box with several openings cut into it to hold outlets, switches and dc and usb outlets.

When locking the top down, it does not like to stay locked, and if you use the locking strap to secure it in place, you might just have to cut it off to gain access to your battery if you dont have needle nose pliers to back the strap out...

The battery boxes are very strong.  The problem one of the boxes did not come with a strap. I ordered them for pickup. I got home I found one of the battery straps was missing. It might have been missing from the vendor or just overlooked when pulling the order. Not worth the risk going back for.Be sure to check all of your order before leaving the store

be carefull

This box is very light plastic %26 very large. It has a partition plastic to customize the size, but only one partition,  so battery will be pushed towards one end, unbalancing the box. I am returning it because the partition almost immediately broke at its top when I tried to use it.  Think "flimsy".

I mistakenly saw the number 24 and figured it was a battery box for a number 24 battery. 

This is for a huge battery box and a number 24 or number 27 battery will slide all over the place even though there's a plastic divider

Only buy this if you have a Group 31 battery….
