[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] cake pan is similar to that of my childhood, albeit poorer quality materials. I have had problems with uneven baking in both times using it.  recommend cooking a LOT longer than cake recipe calls for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing I dislike about this lamb cake pan is the very sharp edges. I ended up with a deep cut in my finger when I washed it prior to use. The metal should've been deburred and filed down prior to leaving the factory.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this pan because a Lamb cake was a family tradition at Easter and had not found a pan before this. 
The design of product doesn't match the directions.  The directions say to fill the bottom and place the top on it... that the top has a vent hole to allow seam to be released while baking. The bottom has the vent hole instead of the top of this two piece cake pan. The top fits into the bottom, so I had to lay it with the bottom side up. when baking some of the batter flowed out of the pan onto the tray which I had placed under it and on to the oven from the seam between the top and bottom as it didn't seal.  This also made it necessary to trim a lot of cake off in order to open the pan. Once trimmed the cake released well from the pan. The recipe for a chocolate cake included made a slightly drier cake than I would like.  If the vent hole was in the described place this pan would work much better .
