Cake Baking

Really, this is one of the finest Springform pans on the market because it is leak resistant, especially with the lower lip at the base which captures residual seepage. It's easy to use and clean, performs well, and the price is right. I bought one about a year ago , had good success with it, and just bought this one for my sister-in-law as a gift so she can enjoy it because she complained to me that her Springform pan (from a different manufacturer) leaks when she makes cheese cakes. :-) Also, America's Test Kitchen (Public TV Show) rates this pan tops, as it has the Williams Sonoma version, which has a lighter gold color metal exterior, supposedly so that it has a lesser browning effect on the product you're baking, but has a higher price tag. The Nordicware product has performed perfectly for me according to the recipes that I've used to make French Apple Cake, Summer Peach Cake, etc. referenced in America's Test Kitchen Cookbook that I use. Bon appetite'!

Nordicware Springform Pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this Nordic Ware springform pan as a replacement for a pan that caused more headaches than good desserts. Haven't used the new pan yet but it's design is definitely better and definitely appears that it will be leak proof.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is not absolutely leak-proof, but it comes darn close. Good value for the money and it appears to be very sturdy. If you bake a lot you need this in your kitchen.

An Excellent Springform Pan

I'm not a baker, but I was making a cheesecake for a special occasion, and I needed a springform pan, but I did not want to invest much because I knew I wouldn't use it often. It worked beautifully, and the price was perfect.

Good Pan for the Price

I made an Italian cheesecake in this pan . It turned out great. No leaking. Very well made.
Product of Germany. Wonderful

Wonderful pan

Have shopped around for a good springform pan. This is a great one. Easy to use and clean. Good value. I love it!

My First

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replacement for my 20-year-old
Kaiser pan. Really happy with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cleans up easy. I have several Nordic Ware baking pieces. . Its the brand I trust for quality. Just made an apple tart in it and it released easily .No leaks.

Awesome pan, worked like a charm. Made a lasagna pie and it came out great.

Did what it's suppose to do

I recently purchased this pan. The quality is great, however, I do not like the dark color. It bakes very differently from the lighter colored pans I already own. Perhaps making this as part of the Naturals collection would solve this issue. I also own the 7 inch version of this pan and submitted this same review/suggestion.

nordicware.com

I had made a cheesecake the soonest that I did received the pan, still cover the outside of the pan with foil paper, I hated to say that still leaks, very disappointed, and still small then 9'' or 10' inch.
So you advertising of leak proof is not correct.

Pan still leaks
