I have a Breville counter oven (which I also love).  I keep this on top of my oven along with a pair of silicone tongs.  (Looking like I planned it, both items are red.)  This hook allows me to catch the edge of the tray and pull it out to where I can use the tongs to pick up the toast/ item at the back of the tray.  I can then use this hook to push the hot tray back.  Both items can safely rest on top of oven without getting hot to the touch.  It means that as you're cooking, you're not going after a hot pad -- what you need is right there.  

In theory, this could also be used to pull the tray out on a full-sized oven.  I think that would depend on how heavy the pan is (nope for the 8-qt enameled pan with stew in it).  Plus, when I'm using my big oven, I'm usually getting ready to remove (aforementioned Dutch oven, cookie sheets, ...) and I'm already using pot holders.

But truly, this is an _amazing_ tool for the counter oven.

I have a problem seeing into my oven resulting in burns. With this tool I can safely pull out oven rack to access  my food.

Better than gloves!

This is an essential tool for everyone who uses the bottom rack of their ovens. It hooks onto the rack and safely pulls it toward you preventing you from burning getting burned.

Love it, it's a must have!

really nice, looks great, feels great, works just as it should. one of those items you did not know existed but once have it glad you do comes in handy and prevents those nasty accidental burns.

Very good for using with a regular oven or an air fryer oven. Keep your fingers far away from the hot racks.

Disappointing, barely long enough to reach the opening of my oven. Useless.
