Northern Exposure is thirty years old and still is unparalleled in its creative impact.  The show ran approximately five years with some of the best writing on television, even when there were obvious problems with the direction of the show midway through it's run.  Still, the show retained a fun, mystical and character-driven story that you fall in love with.  Some episodes are a bit dated, (hey, we're talking early '90's now, but the fun and warmth of the show is intact.

I bought the complete series dvds from you at the best market price and still can't believe how you could offer them so cheaply.  It's always been one of my favorite series and I don't want to be dependent on streaming scheduling to be able to see the shows again.

In my opinion, Northern Exposure was one of the best TV series even written. Watching it now, years later, it's still brilliant!

If you remember watching the series, you will love this set. Jogs your memory and you get to see missed shows. I loved it and my cousin loved it. Great to binge watch!

this is an awesome series. dated due to clothing style but is an all round happy drama. pushes social issues and bigotry in a entertaining way. some adult situations. a great show to entertain and spark family discussions.

One of my favorite shows! There was concern about the rights to some of the music included in the show that kept it from being available for so long, but there is only a small amount of the music that has been replaced. My favorite scene out of the entire series is from Season 3, Episode 8 where Ruth Anne and Ed dance on the grave Ed gives her as a birthday present.

Old series I'm loving rewatching!! Nice pricing.

Great TV show at the time.  Without having an original series broadcast version to compare this side by side to, I cannot attest to 'music content'. A few of the classic songs included are appropriate for the scene/situation. It had a good cast and it is entertaining, and getting by the 'somewhat elevator' music,  it is still a good show.

Still a worthwhile watch

So disappointed...I'm viewing season 3 and so far, out of 6 seasons, 7 episodes just flat won't play..I waited so long for the series to be affordable and I guess now I know why it was.
