It looks just like the picture.
Was easy to use.
WORKS well. 
The little forks were popular with the kids.

Overall an absolute win! (we did fondue with beef broth vs wine) The kids can't wait to use it to dip stuff in chocolate when we do cookie baking this Christmas season.

Fantastic

I brought this to work, heated chocolate, and had my clients dip in strawberries and pretzel rods. Then we decorated them with sprinkles etc. it was a lot of fun, pretty safe. You have to be careful when washing it so you don't get any water in the controls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this product, especially in the fact you have 8 color coded prongs so you can easily keep up with whose utensil is who's. The only thing I'd change is the heat setting- it didn't seem to want to heat up on the lower settings and at 3, was too much I nearly scorched my chocolate- this was also waiting several minutes between each adjustment.

For my dinner parties, we actually cook our meats in these pots at the table.  I plug in. Pour in already heated oil or broth. Temp remains at constant 350 chosen temp.  Since buying 2nd pot, can have more guests. Best ever!

Nostalgia Fondue Pot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like it, but it's much bigger than I anticipated and you'd really only use this for a big party. If you're planning cheese or chocolate fondue in it, you need about 3x the amount of ingredients you would usually use. That's the only reason I knocked a star off. If you don't use enough ingredients, you'll just burn it in the bottom of the pot.

High volume, triple your ingredients.

It's everything I wanted from the size, shape, and the coating inside for easy cleanup, but, as I began to work with it, it heated up very fast and didn't stay on very long. I had to keep turning it back on to get the cheese to melt. I'm not sure what my problem was, recipe, me, the pot, the fact that it kept turning off, but I couldn't get the cheese to melt as smoothly as I know it should. It was delicious and everyone loved it, but I'll give it another try and change this review later if I need to.

Looks like my old one, but inside was scratched with first use. Top metal cover has very sharp edges. My old one had a very durable heat resistant plastic yo hold the skewers
