I followed the instruction booklet to assembly this popcorn machine. The components fit snuggly, okay, putting the base to the popcorn popper housing required a little more muscle than I would have thought necessary to get this device together. However, once assembled, the popper worked great. I found the unit easy to clean. The bottom line for me was that this device was worth the money I paid for it. Oh, and the popcorn tastes superb!!!

Very large and love the light/warming feature and the slide out kernal catcher for clean up. We had purchased a different one from another retail that was returned due to poor quality. This one is worth what we paid for it. Excellant timing in shipping it as well!

Worth the money

I sent this to my son and his family for Christmas! They love it!!! It arrived a week before Christmas and they said they have made popcorn in it everyday!!! They even have a movie night for my grandson and 10 of his friends and they will make popcorn . My daughter in law said it looks wonderful and makes Awesome popcorn! I would definitely recommend this popcorn popper!!!

Great Buy!!!

My husband and I host a large family reunion every summer and he has always wanted a popcorn cart for that as well as other occasions. I gave him this for Christmas and he loves it. It makes great popcorn, popping 99.9% of the kernals (seriously there was only 3 or 4 un-popped). It comes apart for cleaning easily. Added enjoyment is that our grandkids love it too!

I read through a lot of reviews and decided to try this machine. Set up was easy, it's easy to use and makes great popcorn. It isn't totally level and when I dump the popcorn out of the kettle the cord needs to be adjusted. But minor things overall. I do recommend, as another user suggested, purchase Flavacol - popcorn seasoning. Makes it taste like movie theater popcorn.

Great popcorn machine for the money

When i was looking to find the right size for our family of 3 I settled on this one, which is perfect for our family. Even with all of the un-popped kernels there is still plenty of popcorn with the 6oz pre packaged popcorn for our family of 3. You get quite a bit of kernels with each scoop of popcorn, but after everyone had their fill, there was still some left.I like salt and I will say the pre-packaged popcorn is pretty salty. I didn't need to add any salt.
Assembly was a challenge, I'm very mechanical and I had to break out a punch to get the holes to line up on the frame, even if you don't tighten all the bolts til the end, they don't line up. It did finally go together. It's not a bad idea to use 2 people. 
I don't know if I would use the word commercial in the title. Only time will tell. 
It's smaller than I imagined, and loading the prepackaged oil is a tight fit, you need to open the package, split the stick of oil in half and put it in the bowl. Not a lot of room to work inside the machine. Dumping the bowl is awkward because of the amount of space to work with inside the machine.  
  I have only used it a couple of times, but I would probably but this again. does make really good popcorn, and clean up is not too bad, It's a challenge to get the bowl in and out to wipe it out, but it's manageable. 
Again the pre-packaged popcorn is pretty salty, if you're not a fan of salt, buy the oil and popcorn separate so can adjust the salt. It does have good flavor. All in all I would buy it again, We were very happy with the flavor of the popcorn and that's all that matters in the end

Perfect size for a family of 3

When I purchased this it was going to be for an event, It was nothing like I thought it would be, it took a long time to pop the popcorn. You also have to be careful and don't leave it unattended becuase you would burn the popcorn . The cleaning part is horrible. You have to be sure that you clean it right away if not it would leave lots of stain.

First problem was that they painted of the screw threads, so it very difficult to get that screw in. Then they forgot to drill a hole all the through on one of the base legs. So could not put that long bolt through at all. Finally to top it off, there was a sloppy welding job on one the leg piece on the inside that needs to fit over the popcorn storage base. We had to file the extra/excess metal down to get it to fix some what. I took over 4 hours to put together, which is unexceptable.

Assembly was horrible.

My husband spent two hours putting this together, only to find at the end that it was missing several important parts. I had to find another popcorn maker immediately, as we needed it for my daughter's birthday party the next day. Fortunately, our local Walmart took the popcorn maker back and even refunded the shipping. It was an inconvenience and time waster, so I would NOT buy this product. It also looks kind of cheap.

Missing Parts; Piece of Junk!

Sorry to say, I did not receive the 6-oz. machine. I received a 4 oz. machine, which was quite inadequate! Since it was purchased for a specific event and there was no alternative, I was forced to use it anyway. I am now in the process of trying to rectify this situation by returning the 4 oz. cart and having the 6 oz. cart delivered.

Under the circumstances, I cannot rate the item ordered. However, the 4 oz. cart did perform quite well albeit it smaller than the one purchased. So . . . my issue is not with the product, but rather with delivery of the wrong product by Walmart.

I look forward to receipt of the correct 6 oz. cart, after which I will be happy to provide the desired overall rating!
