I had bought a different brand that worked well but they used a non-stainless bolt inside that produced white floaties when interacting with the hot water. I should have stuck with this model which is tried and true. It's perfectly designed. Plug it in and it works - no options or extra switches. Just clean hot water. Haven't used it for coffee brewing but probably fine.
