kids all day everyday saying I want cotton candy, used this like 30 times already in the last week. take about 2 mins for cotton candy to start making it webs, not to hard to clean, very good product, kids will love it and when they sleep you can make your own and enjoy it without kids taking it from you hehehe even adults should have a peace time to time lol,

Just purchased this for my 9 year old daughter, and she loves it! So easy to use that she needs no help in using it (supervision is suggested though). Cotton candy is ready in a jiffy! We purchased the mint colored, and it has a nice retro look to it.

Easy to use

I really like this machine. So it says that you can use hard candy. I used jolly ranchers the 1st time and it was not like cotton candy. It turned hard fast. I was very disappointed. I was going to get sugar floss but I live in a very small town and it was going to take days to get it, not to mention the cost. I saw that you can make your own with sugar, extract, and food coloring. Now this was cotton candy. Soft, fluffy and good!  It was worth testing out and my kids love it and love making there own. We will be using this a lot!

Fluffy cotton candy once you use the right stuff!

Excellent little machine! Disassembled, it doesn't take up very much space. Assembled, it's about the size of a larger toaster oven. We bought it for our son, who found out he enjoys making cotton candy when he helped with a fundraiser. This machine is very quiet, and makes little portions of cotton candy in just a few minutes. We've found it does best with hard candies in the extractor head - flossing sugar yields much less fluff. The plastic portions clean up easily, but the extractor head requires more time and attention. Be careful not to scrub it too hard - the non-stick coating is quite fragile. We found that out the hard way.

Worth the buy. Super Easy and super fun. Just let it warm up for 10 minutes and you'll be good to go.

So easy

it is a convenient way to make cotton candy from home.  The machine looks nice and functions well with cotton candy sugar but if you want to use hard candy, you better crush it first.  I couldn't give five stars because I can already see signs that it won't last long.  For the price it is great for a small party, but not safe for kids to use unsupervised.    If you have problems with ants, this probably isn't for you.  It is messy, but fun.  It does it's job and is higher quality than other machines you can buy for home use.  It works best after warming up for five or ten minutes before adding sugar.  Don't expect the same huge fluffs you get at the fair and just know that it isn't a fast process but you do get a decent serving of custom candy per scoop.  The metal basket is starting to wobble when it spins after only a dozen servings have been made.  The worst thing is this part doesn't seem to be removable for cleaning, the part that melts the sugar.  It gets messy fast, and again, ants are a concern.  The instructions say that if this part gets clogged to beat it with a wooden spoon, lol, but I don't recommend it.  Just leave the machine running empty for a few minutes to get as much excess sugar melted off as possible.  It is great for birthdays, holidays, and other small gatherings.

I am really enjoying it, but it has a few flaws.

Takes a few tries to learn how to wrap it on the cone. Probably works best with flossing sugar. We used Jolly Ranchers, and broke them up into a powder. It works, but maybe if it was finer it would work better. It definitely satisfies the craving for CC. Plain sugar works really well, I haven't tried flossing sugar in it. You need to heat it up for 10 minutes. It takes some time to do each one, so you will not be whipping it up quick like they do at the county fair!

I've never made cotton candy or anything similar before, and using this was so easy! It helped watching YouTube videos online how to do it. The only downside to this machine is worrying about the sugar getting inside the heating element, it would've been possible to build it so it could cover it more. I didn't find in the manual that you could take it apart though! I had to look that up too, but I love this machine so much, especially for the price! Jolly Ranchers worked AMAZING in this, best cotton candy I have EVER tasted EVER!!!

Great price!

It works but it does not provide a manual of how to clean the machine in fact the only instruction sheet sent was a photo copy of the instructions on a half sheet of paper of which was torn town the middle of how to use the machine and it was very blurry.  I had to download the instructions of which it still does not tell you how to clean the machine.  Using hard candy does not work very well at all.

Ok Machine

My son bought this with his birthday money. Several days before he bought it, it was $27. something, then when we went to order it, it went up by 5-6 dollars. Then several days later, it went back down. But, the candy is great, but you can only put 3 -4 pieces of hard candy in at a time. Which makes very little. It takes A LOT of time and effort to get 1/4 of the amount shown that is on the stick. I told my son we would have to buy a bigger sized one so that way you can actually have a decent/normal amount in a short time. Very messy machine also. But very fun, for them to make something that you can only get at the fair!

Spend more money on a bigger one.

Extremely disappointed with this product.   It clogs easily, the part is difficult to come apart to clean and it doesn't produce a whole lot of cotton candy.
