I never opened the delivered package from Walmart.  Ijust wrapped it and put it under the Christmas tree.  Our 20 member family played "Dirty Christmas"  where everyone draws a number and has a chance to steal your present. This hotdog roaster was stolen 3 times by various family members until the game was over. The last person to steal this toaster, eats hotdogs everyday.  No kidding everyday.  After he won this prize, he ran to his truck with this package and stated this was going in his man cave and nobody better touch it. As far as how it works, this party was yesterday,  so I dont have any feedback. I just know how many people wanted it, fought for it, stole it, and the winner ran with it. It's a great Christmas gift if you have a " Matlock" in the family.

This is a second one and different style of hot dog maker that I  have purchased.  This one a surprise.  It is perfect.  I am talking about the looks and taste of the hotdog after cooked with this machine.  And please aware the hot dog bun has to purchase the very small size.  Because I do not know, I have to use the regular and split in two put on each side.  Anyway, I thought it is a successful party that I held with my two daughters once in a month with some french fries and pizza with iced coke.  Highly recommended.  The other one on market is like heating and keep/steam warm instead.  This one is a real thing.  It acts like a oven.  Please recommended to all your friends.  Thank you.  And have a nice day! This is the best appliance I ever bought….the hot dog toaster heats the bun and cooks the hot dog perfectly…..it's so easy for the kids to do……easy clean up too….

Hot Dog Toaster

Took a little getting used to, but once I adjusted the temperature and flattened the buns before I put them into the machine they both came out perfectly.  Now I have hotdogs my way - easy!

Perfect Every Time

Purchased the Hot Dog Toaster for a friend who collects Coke items. I thought it would be unique to have on the counter but the friend used it and said it actually works great. I happened upon this item while online, and searched for availability and found it at Walmart. Great price, great item!

unique idea

Really easy to use, fun way to make hot dogs and toast the buns. I got it thinking it would be fun for my child to make his own hot dogs and he can! It really does get the hot dogs good and cooked and the buns toasted. It's a little uneven, and the sides of the compartment where the buns go, can get sticky and build up burnt bread. It does fall down but also needed to scrape. Maybe not an issue if the buns are not large. Can be overlooked but it can leave residue on the next one if you're making more than one serving.

Fun and easy to use

This item was purchased as a gift for a wedding registry. The recipient of the gift stated "Hot dogs have never tasted this good...not even those cooked on the grill. I called my mother, my aunt, my grandmother, and everyone I could think of to tell them about how good my hot dogs have been. I just love it and I will be forever grateful to you for the selection you made."

A Welcomed Gift

I purchased this as a Father's Day presents for my husband.  I really like the color of hot dog cooker.  it does cook the hot dogs somewhat unevenly you have to flip them so that both ends get cooked if not one end will still be cold when it comes out I also would not put any buns in the bun warmer it has a tendency to burn them.  my husband uses it multiple times a day I don't know if it's going to last that long because of the excessive usage it is already starting to break down a little bit.

I was really looking forward to using this. I don't like that the bun doesn't fit into bun toaster openings. It gets stuck in toaster as the opening isn't big enough to fit bun in. Very disappointed in that feature. Ended up toasting my buns in toaster oven! If the opening was bigger it would be perfect.

Not worth the money

The hotdog wieners cooked ok. But the hotdog bun warmers burnt the buns. I wasn't very satisfied with this item. Don't recommend anyone buying this. Better to just make hotdogs the old fashioned way.
