I bought this for my five year old and he may be a little young for it, but it has powerful imagery and inspired a lot of thoughtful questions. Good perspective for families whose own parents taught them "not to see color," and how that can do more harm than good.

Striking

Excellent book for discussing difficult subject matter with your children.

This book was such a huge disappointment. This is a very radical approach to talking to your kids about these issues. Not for the very young. The last thing I want to do is scare my kids or tell them everyone is terrible. This is such a serious and important issue and this book is not the way to address these issues.
