The foam is literally the best thing I've found for curl refresh. I am able to get 2-3 extra days out of my curls because this product is so awesome.

I started using this foam November 12th 2025 after using Design Essentials Mousse since 2020 and this Foam excceded my expectations. I love it. I tell EVERYONE about it. I have not experienced any acne breakouts or flare ups as I did with the Design Essentials. This Foam leaves my hair super soft, amazing fresh salon scent, no frizz, no dryness, no flyaways. It works amazing on my natural 4B hair. Please do not change the formula, ingredients or scent. So far this works out for me, my hair and my skin.

Best friend between wash days

Purchased this product because of moisturizers in it. It will hold your hair for 2 days. But again drys the scalp and makes your scalp flakey. Trying to figure out the right amount so not to effect scalp.

It's definitely works for the first 3 hours- the only problem is it doesn't last very long and it does have a rather pungent smell.

Didn't really do much for me. I think that water and a little mouse works better.

Not great

I really wanted to like this product. I LOVE the hold 3 gel as it's not too heavy on my looser curl pattern, so I thought that would pair perfectly with this foam…absolutely not. First off, the pump is basically a workout for your finger (if you can press it down at fully to begin with), and even if you do the foam doesn't do what it's supposed to do, which is foam up! It just comes out as this watery liquid and maybe a slight foam if you're lucky. Absolute waste of money and a real disappointment that apparently this is still an issue with their pumps. If you want a real foam, try Cake beauty gel to foam (my personal favorite and one I should've never strayed away from. Lesson learned I suppose).

Pump Doesn't Work

This used to be a go-to product for me but after the formulation change it's no longer effective for refreshing my waves. I used this product for years and always got foam consistency from the product, but now my last 2 bottles have had pump malfunctions that make the product come out watery and soapy instead of foamy. So disappointed.
